1. f(x) Krystal / Jung Soo Jung
f(x)'s Krystal first made her acting debut in 2010, through a sitcom called, "More Charming by the Day." However, Krystal solidified her acting career as an up-and-coming actress through her role in the popular SBS romantic drama, "The Heirs" in 2013, and "My Lovely Girl" in 2014.
Since then, Krystal has been landing herself leading roles such as in "The Bride of Habaek," "Player" and "Police Class."
Meanwhile, Krystal starred in "Crazy Love" with heartthrob Kim Jae Wook. The drama will conclude on April 26.
2. Apink Eunji / Jung Eunji
Apink's Eunji made her acting debut in the popular "Reply" drama, "Reply 1997," in 2012. Her acting in the series was praised for her emotional and comedic acting that was impressive for a newcomer in the industry, which won her various awards.
Since then, Eunji got casted for various leand and supporting roles, and participated as a lead in musicals, such as "Legally Blonde," the musical from 2012 to 2013.
Eunji is slated to reprise her role as Ji Gu in the TVING's comedy web series "Work Later, Drink Now," alongside Super Junior Siwon, Lee Sun Bin and more.
3. IU / Lee Ji Eun
The "Nation's Little Sister," IU is also a singer who showed amazing acting skills. She made her acting debut in the 2011 KBS2 drama, "Dream High," where she got her nickname from after fans loved her acting and appearance in the drama.

After "Dream High," she went on to take various roles in other dramas that further propelled her acting career, such as "The Producers," "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo," "My Mister," "Hotel Del Luna" and more.
IU is set to star in the forthcoming movie "Dream" with Park Seo Joon, while her other movie "Broker" just got invited to Cannes Film Festival 2022.
4. BtoB Sungjae / Yook Sungjae
One of the funniest idols to grace the industry is BtoB Sungjae!
Sungjae debuted as an actor in the 2013 drama, "Monstar" where he was cast as a supporting role. He also starred in many popular dramas such as "Reply 1994," "School 2015," and as the ever-lovable and scene-stealeing Yoo Deok Hwa in tvN's "Goblin," which won him "Best New Actor" in the Korea Drama Awards.
Sungjae is set to headline the MBC drama "Golden Spoon," alongside DIA Jung Chaeyeon.
5. EXO D.O. / Do Kyungsoo
Another idol who was highly praised for his emotional and splendid acting is EXO's D.O!
D.O made his acting debut in 2014 with a supporting role in the film "Cart." He later took on another supporting role for SBS's "It's Okay, That's Love" in late 2014, which earned him a nomination as "Best New Actor" in the Baeksang Arts Awards.
He was able to land a lead role in 2016 through the web-drama, "Be Positive," which became the most watched drama of all time in Korea.

Since then, he solidified himself as an actor and appeared in various dramas and films, such as "Swing Kids," "Along with the Gods," "100 Days My Prince" and more.
D.O. is booked and busy this year until 2023 as he is slated to star in the movies "Secret" and "The Moon," and in drama "True Swordsmanship."
6. ZE:A Siwan / Im Siwan
Prior to supporting and main roles, Siwan made guest appearances in dramas such as "Prosecutor Princess," "Please Marry Me" and "Gloria." He landed a supporting role in "Moon Embracing the Sun" in 2012, which kickstarted his acting career.
He later went on to star in various dramas. He starred in tvN's "Misaeng" which became a commercial hit and recorded high viewership ratings, and won him multiple awards.
He recently starred in MBC and Wavve's "Tracer" with Son Hyun Joo and JTBC's "Run On" with Shin Se Kyung.
7. ZE:A Hyungsik / Park Hyung Sik
Park Hyung Sik captured the hearts of many fans, especially with his role as "Min Min" Ahn Minhyuk in "Strong Girl Do Bong Soon."
In 2013, he appeared in "The Heirs" with a supporting role that further made him recognized as an actor.
In 2016, he starred as the main character in "Hwarang" with other popular actors.
His most recent acting projects were the zombie-themed series "Happiness" with Han Hyo Joo and romance drama "Soundtrack #1" with Han So Hee.

The "Beast" idol starred in the award-winning MBC historical drama "The Red Sleeve Cuff," which concluded in January this year, alongside beautiful actress Lee Se Young. The series received huge recognition and reached double-digit ratings, which prompted the production to film an additional episode!
Meanwhile, Lee Junho is slated to star in a new romance drama, alongside Girls' Generation YoonA.
9. 2PM Taecyeon / Ok Taecyeon
Another 2PM member on the list is none other than "Captain Korea" Ok Taecyeon! Viewers were stunned to witness the idol-actor's impeccable acting skills as the evil and corrupt villain in the 2021 megahit "Vincenzo," alongside Song Joong Ki and Jeon Yeo Bin.
The hunk star also headlined the romance-historical series "Secret Royal Inspector and Joy" in the same year. He is slated to star in "Blind," coming this 2022.
10. Girls' Generation YoonA
YoonA has a sweet voice and is a member of the vocal and legendary group Girls' Generation - people know this much, but new fans are probably unaware that she's a great actress, too!

11. GOT7 Jinyoung / Park Jinyoung
GOT7 Jinyoung first showcased his acting skills through "Dream High 2" as a support role, but it was in "He Is Psychometric" where he fully showed off his excellent performance as the lead.
Afterwards, he starred in the romance drama "When My Love Blooms," alongside Jeon So Nee, Yoo Ji Tae and Lee Bo Young.
The young celebrity then landed another lead role, this time as a judge in legal-dystopian drama "The Devil Judge" with Park Gyu Young and Ji Sung.
Following his successful projects, Jinyoung didn't stop showcasing his acting skills as he also starred in "Yumi's Cells" with Kim Go Eun and Ahn Bo Hyun. He is to reprise his role as Bobby is Season 2.
The "If You Do" singer also starred in the recently debuted Netflix action film "Yaksha: Ruthless Operations."
12. Kim Sejeong
The former member of gugudan is not just an amazing vocalist (who can hit Oh Chan Whee's "Tears" like it's nothing) but is also a brilliant actress!
She impressed viewers with her acting in the fantasy and webtoon-based K-drama "Uncanny Counter," and made us laugh with her character as the food researcher Shin Ha Ri in the recently-concluded romantic-comedy series "Business Proposal."
Meanwhile, Sejeong will star in the forthcoming SBS drama "Today's Webtoon," set to premiere in the second half of the year.
