(G)I-DLE Places No. 1 on iTunes Charts With 'Last Dance' + Song Enters Korean Music Charts
(G)I-DLE has returned with a new song, "Last Dance," which has already dominated multiple iTunes charts in different countries, as well as domestic charts.
(G)I-DLE Drops New Single "Last Dance" with UNIVERSE
On April 29, CUBE Entertainment's girl group released a new track via the K-pop platform UNIVERSE and on various music sites. Titled "Last Dance," the song has a "dark witch" concept and was produced by GroovyRoom with (G)I-DLE member Soyeon taking part in creating the melody. Soyeon also penned the rap lyrics for the single, and singer-songwriter Kriz co-wrote the lyrics.
"Last Dance," a deep house-type pop genre song that stands out with sophisticated sound unique to GroovyRoom. The chic and powerful vocals and rap of the (G)I-DLE members are added to the track, creating a more meaningful message.

The music video preview for (G)I-DLE's "Last Dance" was uploaded to YouTube, while the full version can be watched on the UNIVERSE app. In this release, only five members - Miyeon, Yuqi, Minnie, Soyeon, and Shuhua - participated as member Soojin is currently on hiatus after being involved in a bullying controversy this past February.

(G)I-DLE's "Last Dance" Grabs No. 1 on various iTunes Charts and Enters Domestic Charts
(G)I-DLE's new single received immense support from fans all over the world followings its release. It scored the first spot on iTunes Top K-pop Songs charts in Malaysia, Norway, and Denmark, and ranked second in New Zealand, Indonesia, and Brazil.
"Last Dance" also came in third place on the iTunes charts in the United Kingdom and the United States, ranked fourth in Italy and Canada, and placed seventh in Australia.

On the iTunes Top Songs chart, (G)I-DLE's new single ranked No. 1 in eight countries like the Philippines, Peru, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Bolivia, Singapore, Macau, and Saudi Arabia.
The song entered more iTunes Top Songs charts, taking the No. 4 spot in Finland, No. 6 in Malaysia, No. 8 in Indonesia, No. 13 in Thailand, No. 14 in Kazakhstan and Portugal, and more. It has also made it to the worldwide iTunes Song chart, scoring the No. 30 position.
In addition, (G)I-DLE's "Last Dance" is currently sitting at No. 3 on iTunes Top 100 K-pop Songs chart.

When it comes to Korean music charts, the single entered Bugs and Genie's real-time charts, taking the No. 1 and No. 9 spot, respectively. Meanwhile, on the 24 Hour charts of Bugs an Genie, "Last Dance" claimed the No. 15 and No. 84 spot, respectively, as of 5 p.m. KST on April 30.
(G)I-DLE"s "Last Dance" Land on Various International Music Charts
Furthermore, the girl group's new released has entered more international music charts apart from iTunes. On the Amazon Chart, (G)I-DLE's "Last Dance" is the No. 5 bestselling song in the international music category as of 3 p.m. KST on April 30.
The track has also reached the fans in China, and it is now at No. 39 on the Soaring Chart of QQ Music, China's largest music streaming platform.
