All Cast & Production Staff of Mnet's 'Kingdom' to Undergo Self-Isolation After Back-up Dancer Tested Positive for COVID-19

On May 6, KST, Mnet announced to media outlets that a backup dancer who participated in the recording for an episode of "Kingdom: Legendary War" back on May 4 was confirmed to be positive for COVID-19.

According to Mnet, the production staff complied with the precautionary measures and guidelines, such as everyone answering questionnaires, checking temperature, and continuously disinfecting the areas used during the recording.

Mnet said that there is currently an investigation underway. Based on their internal findings, it was determined that there were no close contact among the cast and staff with the backup dancer. Not only iKON, The Boyz, and SF9, but all of the cast members such as BTOB, Stray Kids, ATEEZ, and the production staff who participated in the recording on May 4 KST, will be undergoing self-isolation and testing as a precautionary measure and as per quarantine guidelines issued by the government.

BTOB to Cancel Ongoing Scheduled Activities Amid Self-Isolation and Testing

Following the reports that a backup dancer who participated in the recording on May 4 for an episode of "Kingdom: Legendary War," a representative of Cube Entertainment announced that BTOB will cancel all ongoing schedule activities to focus on self-isolation and taking tests for COVID-19.

"After taking the tests, the group will cancel all schedules and wait for their test results at home," said the representative.

"Kingdom: Legendary War" Heads to Round Two of the RE:BORN Battle in Latest Episode

On April 29, "Kingdom: Legendary" war aired its fifth episode, featuring the second round of the RE:BORN Battle, through Mnet's Youtube channel.

ATEEZ were the first performers and presented their version of iKON's "Rhythm Ta," using the Spanish television series "Money Heist" as their motif for the song.

Following ATEEZ were BTOB, who took the challenge of performing their version of Stray Kids' "Back Door." While Stray Kids decided to take on a more emotional stage through BTOB's "Pray (I'll Be Your Man)."

In addition, the fifth episode of the show revealed the temporary rankings for the Battle. ATEEZ took first place, garnering a total of 2,155.172 points. In second place is SF9 with 2,136.015 points, followed by BTOB with 2021.073 points. In fourth place is iKON with 1695.402 points, with Stray Kids following with 1072.797 points. It was revealed that The Boyz placed last with 919.540 points.
