NCT Dream Makes Highly-Anticipated 7-Member Comeback with "Hot Sauce" Music Video

On May 10, NCT Dream made their comeback as a full group with their second full-length album "Hot Sauce." In this new release, fans can enjoy a total of 10 songs including the title track, also called "Hot Sauce."

NCT Dream's "Hot Sauce" is a hip-hop song with captivating chanting in the chorus. The lyrics compare the boy group's strong and irresistible charms to a hot sauce. The music video for the track was dropped on the same day as the album's release.

Only 10 hours after the "Hot Sauce" MV was revealed, it reached 10 million views, becoming the fastest SM male music video to attain this milestone. The MV went on to hit 20 million views in 19 hours, the shortest time among SM music videos.

After 20 hours, NCT Dream's "Hot Sauce" obtained a new record of becoming the fastest MV of an SM artist to gain 25 million views on YouTube. The video garnered five million more views in the next two hours, thus hitting 30 million views in just 22 hours, the shortest period for an SM artist.

Then, in the first 24 hours, the "Hot Sauce" MV attained 34.2 million views. It is now the most viewed in the first 24 hours among the music videos of SM artists.

As NCT Dream's "Hot Sauce" sits at No. 1 on the list, NCT U's "Make A Wish comes in second place. The music video for "Make A Wish" had 25.3 million views on YouTube within 24 hours.

After NCT U is SM Entertainment's new girl group, aespa. The music video for the quartet's debut single "Black Mamba" hit 21.4 million views after a day of release. While it is the third-most-viewed MV of an SM artist, aespa's "Black Mamba" achieved the highest views in the first 24 hours for a new K-pop group.

Global boy group EXO comes next on the list. Their "Tempo" MV had 16.1 million views. This is also EXO's most-viewed music video in the first 24 hours. Sitting at No. 5 is another music video of NCT U. Their "90's Love" gained 11.7 million views.

Following the NCT sub-unit is Red Velvet's duo Irene and Seulgi with their debut track "Monster." The 24-hour view count of the MV for "Monster" hit 11.4 million views. It is the most-viewed among Red Velvet's music videos.

Next is another MV of Red Velvet. The quintet's all-time hit "Psycho" garnered 10.7 million views. This becomes Red Velvet's group MV with the highest 24-hour views.

The Nos. 8 and 9 are claimed by music videos of EXO. At No. 8 is "Love Shot" with 10.6 million views, and is followed by "Obsession" with 10.4 million views.

On the No. 10 spot is Red Velvet's "Zimzalabim" with 10.2 million views.
