Kang Daniel has released "Concept Film: Silent Black" for his upcoming UNIVERSE Music entry, "Outerspace (Feat. Loco)."

NCsoft and Klap, developers of the latest K-pop fan interaction platform UNIVERSE, has uploaded "Concept Film: Silent Black" across its SNS sites last May 7, attracting even more attention and curiosity for the next UNIVERSE Music entry.

In the 44-second video, bits of various black and white scenes are explored, including those that feature Kang Daniel against a flooring and backdrop of concentric circles. The singer-songwriter wears a suit and tie ensemble similar to those in his earlier concept photos. At one point, he is seen running away from the camera as the teaser music rises into a crescendo before suddenly stopping to see the title card for "Outerspace (Feat. Loco)," set for a May 13 release.

"Outspace (Feat. Loco)," the upcoming collaboration between Kang Daniel and hip-hop icon Loco, will be the UNIVERSE Music release for the month of May. It follows IZ*ONE's "D-D-Dance" in January, Jo Sumi and Rain's "Guardians" in February, Park Ji Hoon's "Call U Up (Feat. LeeHi)" in March, and most recently, (G)I-DLE's "Last Dance (Prod. GroovyRoom)" last April.

Aside from his UNIVERSE Music entry, Kang Daniel has also teased his UNIVERSE Original show, "Agent Blackjack K," back in January. With a similar concept as his teasers for "Outerspace (Feat. Loco)," his UNIVERSE web series also teases him in a black suit and tie - since he is the titular agent. In the show, he disguises as an ordinary employee when in fact, he's a secret agent sent on an important mission.

"Outerspace (Feat. Loco)" is set to be released on May 3, 6 PM KST, with the music video being exclusively released through the UNIVERSE app.
