Are BIGBANG Taeyang and Min Hyo Rin Welcoming Their First Child? This is Why People Think They Are Expecting

On Thursday, May 13, Min Hyo Rin uploaded a photo to her Instagram account of a plaster statue in the shape of a dog. Alongside the photo includes the caption "Cute."

Her caption also included the emoticons (also known as emojis) for a baby boy and a baby bottle.

After seeing this, both domestic and international fans wondered if Min Hyo Rin was secretly hinting that the duo is expecting a baby. Some fans even left congratulatory messages under her post.

However, following the overwhelming interest in the two possibly being pregnant, Min Hyo Rin silently deleted the baby boy and baby bottle emojis and replaced them with other emoticons. 

This move, however, only increased interest and curiosity among fans.

BIGBANG's Taeyang and Min Hyo Rin has not released a formal statement on the situation, so it is up to fans' interpretation as to what Min Hyo Rin's post meant.

BIGBANG Taeyang and Min Hyo Rin's Relationship Timeline

BIGBANG's Taeyang and Min Hyo Rin's first public interaction was during the filming of the idol's "1AM" music video back in 2014.

In the music video, the two had a scene in bed. According to reports, Taeyang had selected Min Hyo Rin as his muse due to how impressed he was with the actress's acting skills in the movie "Sunny."

Despite the "1AM" music video being the first time the two physically interacted, it is not Min Hyo Rin's first time to appear in a Taeyang music video.

For the "Eyes, Nose, Lips" music video, which was released just a week prior to the "1AM" music video, Min Hyo Rin's portrait appears at the end. Her portrait is set on fire, and Taeyang watches it as it burns

According to Min Hyo Rin, during an appearance on "Radio Star," she did not know Taeyang until she was offered the role in his music video.

However, it would later be revealed that the pair have been dating since 2013.

On Jun. 15, 2015, YG Entertainment's former CEO, Yang Hyun Suk, announced that Taeyang and Min Hyo Rin were dating.

Ever since the two confirmed their relationship, they have been spotted going on dates and have spoken about one another and their relationship on shows and interviews.

In Dec. 2017, it was announced that the couple was engaged. Taeyang personally took to Instagram to share the news with his fans. The wedding, which was held on Feb. 2018, was attended by friends, family, and colleagues in Paradise City Hotel & Resorts in Incheon.
