Mnet 'Kingdom' Episode 9: SF9 Climbs from 6th Place to 1st + See Full Initial Rankings for Round 3 Part 2
On the May 27 broadcast of Mnet's "Kingdom," the continuation of the second part of Round 3 was shown. The initial rankings for the "NO LIMIT" battle were also revealed. SF9, who was often at the bottom, successfully reached the top of the list.
Mnet "Kingdom" Episode 9: SF9 Performs SHINee Taemin's "MOVE" for "NO LIMIT" Battle
Last week, Round 3 of Mnet's "Kingdom" commenced, with iKON and Stray Kids covering BLACKPINK songs.
This week, the other groups - SF9, ATEEZ, The Boyz, and BTOB - performed a recreation of the tracks they chose.
In particular, SF9, who was the third performer on that day, reinterpreted SHINee Taemin's "MOVE," which was arranged into something more minimalist and sensuous.

The group's stage started with a solo dance of SF9 Chani, and continued with a group dance with Taeyang positioned at the center. The performance also included distinct rap lines of Hwiyoung, Youngbin, and Zuho.
SF9's rendition of SHINee Taemin's "MOVE" ended with the members forming a single line in the rain.
Following their performance, SF9 received praises from their "Kingdom" co-participants. iKON complimented SF9 Chani's solo dance by saying that his movement was neat and he had good control.
Meanwhile, The Boyz commented that they felt like they were seeing a new world and has the colors of SF9. Lastly, BTOB said that SF9's performance went with bold, passion, and courage that helped them go beyond their limits.

Other performances in Mnet "Kingdom" Episode 9 have BTOB showcased a cinema version of "Blue Moon." ATEEZ performed a remix of their hit song "Answer: Ode to Joy," while The Boyz covered EXO's "Monster" under the theme of "Stormborn," the seventh season of "Game of Thrones."

Toward the end of Mnet "Kingdom" Episode 9, the initial rankings for the second part of Round 3 (NO LIMIT) were revealed.

As previously announced, the "Kingdom" participants will gain points depending on the total points. The results will be based on evaluations by the six groups (25 percent), votes by a panel of 30 experts (25 percent), domestic and global fan votes (40 percent), and count of YouTube views of the videos (10 percent).
In Episode 9, the six groups already cast their votes, and at the same time, the panel of 30 experts made their evaluations. As a result, only 50 percent of the participants' scores were unveiled.

SF9, who was frequently in sixth place, came in first place for Round 3 of Mnet's "Kingdom." The boy group achieved 3,414.352 points - a total of 1851.852 points in self-evaluation and 1562.500 points in experts' votes.
Sitting at No. 2 is Stray Kids with 3,125 points, and after them is BTOB with 2,141.204 points. The Boyz took the fourth spot with 1851.852 points, and iKON is in fifth place with 1504.630 points.
ATEEZ
In the last position is ATEEZ with 462.963 points. The group was unable to score any point from the panel of experts.
