The latest K-pop fan interaction platform, UNIVERSE, will be participating as an official platform partner for Mne's Korea-China-Japan girl group project "Girls Planet 999."

On May 25, NCSoft and Klap announced that UNIVERSE will be teaming up with Mnet for the new multinational K-pop girl group program, starting with a survival show broadcast on the TV network.

Girls Planet 999 is a global program about participants from different countries and cultures but sharing the same dream of making a global debut as artists. Through the program, organizers hope to find the best combination of talents through the values of growth and harmony. It is set to air its premiere episode in August and a teaser video was already released on the UNIVERSE app for users and subscribers to see.

NCSoft and Klap will be opening an exclusive PLANET for Girls Planet 999 this June. Within the UNIVERSE app, a PLANET is an exclusive space for every artist to interact with their respective fanbases. Through the K-pop fan interaction platform's functions and services such as "Fan Network Service (FNS)," "Media," and "Support," all of which will be available on the upcoming Girls Planet 999 PLANET, fans and followers will be able to see exclusive features and content that will keep them updated on their favorite participants, as well as on the show itself.

Additional major videos broadcasting information on the upcoming project will be released through the UNIVERSE app, as well as on the official Girls Planet 999 website - the latter having recently opened also on the 25th.

As a survival show program, fans will be voting in support of their favorite participants and will help determine who will make it to the final lineup. Both domestic and foreign voting for Girls Planet 999 will be made available through the UNIVERSE app. Both Mnet and UNIVERSE commit to providing a fair, transparent, and reliable voting environment for its viewers.
