Chungha's management company, MNH Entertainment, has announced their plan to hold an online audition for the debut of their very first boy group.

Chungha's Label to Conduct an Online Audition for Their First Boy Group Debut Project

On June 4, MNH Entertainment released an image for their upcoming project through their official sites and social media accounts. The image reveals that the company will be holding their "2021 MNH Boy Group Debut Project," which will include a "World Audition for Guys (WAG)."

"WAG" is a global audition where Chungha's agency will select male trainees who will participate in their forthcoming project. Because of the ongoing pandemic, the audition will be held online.

Online audition for MNH Entertainment's new male trainees will take place from June 11 to May 11. Aspiring male idols can participate regardless of their nationality. Detailed information about the audition will be announced at a later date.

This will be the first time MNH will debut a boy group, and their second time to launch an idol group, following BVNDIT. It has been more than two years since the label debuted its first girl group.

As both Chungha and BVNDIT have proven their excellent skills and diverse personalities, it is expected that many people will pay attention to MNH Entertainment's first-ever boy group.

Chungha to Release a Remake of "My Lips...Warm Like Coffee" with Colde

In other news, Kim Chungha will be teaming up with Colde to release a remake of the hit song "My Lips...Warm Like Coffee."

"My Lips...Warm Like Coffee" was originally sung by K-pop group Sharp and released in 2001. At that time, the song became an instant hit. After 20 years, the song will be recreated with fresh and unique vocals of Chungha and Colde. The track is said to be composed as a duet in the form of a woman and man exchanging their feelings for each other.

The collaboration gained more attention after it was announced that it will happen through the YouTube channel "Corner Casting." On May 22, this channel worked with MONSTA X's Jooheon and NS Yoon-G who teamed up for the remake of "If You Love Me," which received many positive responses.

Kim Chungha has earned the "Solo Queen" title by continuously releasing high-quality songs that showcase her outstanding singing ability and powerful performance. Meanwhile, Colde is recognized for his distinct vocal tones and incredible skills in producing music. He consistently receives love calls from several musicians who would like to work with him.
