Kim Chungha, who is currently teasing her upcoming comeback, has been officially announced as a new member of the Green Noble Club for her generous donations!

The Green Noble Club is an exclusive group of high-value donors who have contributed more than 100 million KRW (89,293 USD) to Child Fund Korea. And according to Child Fun Korea on Feb. 8, Chungha is now part of the group, becoming the 250^th member. What's more noting is that she is the first new member this year. In the previous years, the appointed artists were TVXQ's Changmin in 2018, BTS's J-Hope in 2019, and actress Kim Yoo Jung in 2020.

Chungha Generously Donates to Child Fund Korea

Starting in 2019, the female solo artist has been active in giving donations to the organization which aims to help children from low-income families, with her initial contribution being 50 million KRW (45,646 USD).

Last year, she donated 20 million KRW (approximately 16,800 USD) to purchase face masks for children to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus. This amount was enough to buy almost 10,000 masks, which will be distributed to deprived children all around the nation.

Kim Chungha's donations have summed up to more than 120 million KRW (107,152 USD). Apart from donating, the idol has also been taking part in different social campaigns held by Child Fund Korea to promote mental health.

Lee Je Hoon, the chairman of the Green Noble Club, commented on the singer being a new member of the group.

He said, "I sincerely welcome Chungha to the Green Noble Club as the first new member in 2021. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to her, sharing her love for helping the vulnerable children even during a hard situation right now because of the coronavirus."

Chungha Drops Music Video Teaser for New Song "Bicycle"

In other news, Chungha is about to make her much-anticipated comeback with her first full-length album titled "Querencia," which is made up of 21 songs. Since the end of January, the solo artist has been releasing teaser photos and clips to further excite fans for her new music.

Earlier this month, Kim shared three audio snippets, giving a listen to the songs on her first studio album. And on Feb. 8 at midnight KST, she has revealed the first music video teaser for "Bicycle." The 20-second clip features Chungha wearing different outfits but flaunts the same stunning visual and sexy vibe.

Last year, the female idol dropped her three pre-release tracks from her upcoming album. She first launched "Stay Tonight" in April 2020, and it was followed by "Play" in July of the same year and "X" in January 2021. Chungha's "Querencia" is scheduled for release on Feb. 15.

Meanwhile, it was revealed recently that Chungha and Rain are currently in discussion of working together for a new song. This would be the female artist's first collaboration in six months since her track "Bad Boy" with Danish singer Christopher.
