On June 14, aespa's management company, SM Entertainment, uploaded on the group's official Youtube channel a behind-the-scenes video of "Ep.1 Black Mamba" for SM Culture Universe, and features each of the four members participating and working hard in filming for the scenes.
However, what caught the attention of fans, both domestic and international, is a scene of Karina's, where she had to swim and learn scuba diving in an indoor pool.

Prior to filming the actual scene, Karina had to practice the scene and stunt first. In the video, Karina can be seen wearing a wetsuit, with her hair tied in a ponytail and her face free of any makeup!
When fans saw Karina sporting a bare face, fans immediately commented how gorgeous and flawless she is!
In fact, Karina's face is so flawless and blemish-free, that she doesn't look that much different from when she does wear makeup - and it only goes to show how much of a natural beauty she is.

Fans also commented how she looks like an actual AI (artificial intelligence) and that her beauty seems so unreal. They also noted that when she is bare-faced, she looks more like a baby as compared to when she is fierce and intimidating on stage.
