SF9 Taeyang Draws Mixed Reactions for Wearing 'Too Revealing' Stage Outfit
SF9 Taeyang is currently receiving mixed reactions for his "Tear Drop" stage outfit. This is after some Korean internet users claimed that his clothes are too much and so sexy for a broadcast.
On various Korean online communities, Koreans engaged in a discussion over SF9's stage outfits, particularly Taeyang's.
Was SF9 Taeyang "Too Sexy"? Internet Users' Negative Response to His Revealing Outfit
SF9 recently made a comeback with their mini-album "Turn Over," with the title track "Tear Drop." While the music industry praised them for doing an unconventional concept, they are currently receiving various reactions for their outfits.
The discussion sparked when SBS KPOP uploaded SF9's solo fancams. In the video, Yoo Taeyang appeared in a light purple top and black leather pants.
His customized long sleeves now resemble a crop top with X-shaped twisted details wrapped around his waist. Although his chest and nipples were covered, 3/4 of his upper body was exposed, including his back and abs.
After seeing this, internet users have divided responses. Some said, "It's not a problem with exposing too much skin, but the clothes are strange," "He's sexier without being too revealing" and "I think this is too much."
On the other hand, another online user commented, "He's still sexy whatever he wears" and "the exposure of female idols are worse than this."

News Outlets Praise SF9 for Opening the Genderless Market, Group Described as the "New Sexy Icon"
Recently, SF9 released their ninth mini-album "Turn Over" and impressively sold 143,000 albums in the first half of the week after its release date.
Aside from this fantastic record, Hankuk Ilbo also highlighted how SF9 opened up the genderless market once again, following SHINee Taemin.
Wearing genderless outfits and concepts are always received with some negative evaluation since then.
But with the willingness of SF9 to establish their own color with "Tear Drop," the media outlet said, "It is expected that the "genderless" keyword, which has permeated the K-pop scene in earnest, will be presented to the music of K-pop artists who are heating up the global music market."
In addition, SF9 is also gaining the modifier "New Sexy Icon" for their delicate and sensual performances after appearing on Mnet's "Kingdom: Legendary War."
In fact, Taeyang's personal fan ca for their cover of SHINee Taemin's "Move" received the highest number of views among other participants in the same episode.
Amid criticism, Yoo Taeyang is also being lauded for not only being an amazing performer but a choreographer as well. He is known for creating the dances for their tracks "Unlimited" and "Life is So Beautiful."
