EXO Xiumin Reveals He Hid This from His Parents When He Was Still a Trainee
On the upcoming episode of 'Drink with God," EXO Xiumin confessed that he hid something from his parents when he was still a trainee.
On July 29, Channel S shared a preview of the next episode of the variety show, which will air on Friday, July 30. The hosts, including EXO member Xiumin, had a chat with the next guests, actor Kim Minseok and singer Sung Si Kyung.
EXO Xiumin Reveals That He Kept This as a Secret to His Parents When He Was Still a Trainee
In the preview for the upcoming episode of "Drink with God," Sung Si Kyung recalled the time when he was still in high school. He shared that he wanted to buy a motorcycle, so he had a part-time job.
Sung Si Kyung revealed that he was able to save money for the motorcycle by delivering newspapers, and his parents were not aware of this.

The male singer continued that his parents only knew that he had a motorcycle after he made his debut, which was in 2001 under Jellyfish Entertainment.
Si Kyung then asked EXO Xiumin if he ever had a part-time job. In response, he said that he did have a part-time job.
EXO member Xiumin shared, "I wanted to try having a part-time job, so I tried to do it when I was a trainee, without my parents knowing about it."

The "Don't Fight the Feeling" singer continued that when his mom knew about it, his mom told him that she will give him more budget and asked him to not continue his part-time job and instead, practice more and work hard.
Xiumin started being a trainee under SM Entertainment after he won second place in the company's singing competition, "Every-sing Contest" in 2008.

At that time, the male idol sang Emerald Castle's "Footsteps." He received a 1,000 USD prize and a trainee contract at SME.
After nearly four years, Xiumin was introduced as the seventh member of the South Korean-Chinese boy group EXO in January 2012.
EXO Xiumin to Appear in a New Web Variety Show Regarding Tennis
In other news, EXO Xiumin was announced that he will be starring in an upcoming web variety show, called "Xiumin's Tennis King Tomorrow."
"Xiumin's Tennis King Tomorrow" will be created as Xiumin wants to learn tennis. In the show, his coach will be Jeon Mi Ra, a previous member of the national team and the wife of singer Yoon Jong Shin.
EXO Xiumin's web variety show will start airing on Aug. 4 at 5:30 p.m. KST through the official YouTube channel of Dum Dum Studio. It is scheduled for broadcast every Wednesday and Friday.

Dum Dum Studio has been producing web variety shows featuring K-pop idols, including EXID Hyelin's "Hyelin's Daily Pointlessness" and Red Velvet Yeri's "Yeri's Room."
Previously, EXO member Xiumin made a guest appearance on MBC's variety show "It's Dangerous Beyond the Blankets" and appeared in the reality program "Travel the World on EXO's Ladder."
Since his military discharge, Xiumin has been active in appearing on various domestic shows. He also participated in EXO's latest group comeback with their "Don't Fight the Feeling" album.
