On Aug. 23, YG Entertainment officially announced that Lisa's solo debut would be imminent through a "Coming Soon" poster. Fans across the globe have been waiting for this since last year and now it will eventually happen anytime soon.

BLACKPINK Lisa is one of the widely known K-pop idols and best dancers for her impeccable dancing skills and visuals. She has been receiving support and love from fans around the world, and so her solo debut has been much awaited.

In the "Coming Soon" poster for BLACKPINK Lisa's solo debut, a blurry image of the female idol in a red outfit and boots can be seen. Although the album name or release date was not specified, the silhouette of Lisa, who radiated an unusual aura, was enough to raise the expectations of domestic and international fans.

On Aug. 23, the interests of BLINKs (BLACKPINK's fans) were overwhelming in China. The cumulative number of views of Lisa's solo debut announcement with the hashtag "Lisa Solo Debut" on Weibo exceeded a whopping 3.3 billion views in just one day.

Previously, BLACKPINK member Lisa appeared as a dance mentor in seasons 2 and 3 of the Chinese audition program "Youth With You" and received tremendous love from the fans in the country. Not to mention, the "Youth With You" participants in each season go wild whenever she performed on the show.

In addition to this, the "Coming Soon" poster uploaded on Lisa's Instagram account garnered six million likes, while the one posted on BLACKPINK's Instagram account gained one million likes as of Aug. 23.
