Mnet 'Girls Planet 999' Episode 4: 'Connect Mission' Continues with Covers of IZ*ONE, Oh My Girl, EXO, BTS, and SEVENTEEN - Which Team Won?
On Aug. 27, Episode 4 of Mnet's "Girls Planet 999" saw more performances of the contestants for their first mission, "Connect Mission," and the winning teams, as well as the team who will perform on "M Countdown," were revealed at the end of the stages.
In "Girls Planet 999" Episode 3, two teams competed against each other in covering TWICE's "YES or YES," and another two teams went head-to-head in covering BLACKPINK's "How You Like That."
In the latest episode of Mnet's girl group survival show, covers of Oh My Girl, IZ*ONE, BTS, EXO, and SEVENTEEN were shown.
Mnet "Girls Planet 999" Episode 4: Contestants Cover IZ*ONE "Fiesta" and Oh My Girl "The Fifth Season" for "Connect Mission"
During the Aug. 27 broadcast of "Girls Planet 999," different teams presented their covers of songs by Oh My Girl and IZ*ONE.

The first batch to perform were the two teams covering IZ*ONE's "Fiesta." Team 1 comprised Choi Ye Young, Lee Sun Woo, Kang Ye Seo from the K-Group; Huang Xing Qiao, Chen Hsin Wei, and Poong Wing Chi from the C-Group; and Kubo Reina Sakamoto Mashiro, and Hiyajo Nagomi from the J-Group.
Team 1 - IZ*ONE's "Fiesta"
Team 2 consisted of Huening Bahiyyih, Kim Yu Bin, and Suh Ji Min from the K-Group; Sakamoto Shihona, Nakamura Kyara, and Ito Miyu from the J-Group; and Hsu Nien Tzu, Lin Shu Yun, and Wang Qiu Ru from the C-Group.
In Team 1, "Girls Planet 999" Master Sunmi complimented Huang Xing Qiao for doing well despite her not having doubts about herself beforehand. The Masters criticized Huang during practice as they said that she was showing a lack of self-confidence.
Team 2 - IZ*ONE's "Fiesta"
Because of the encouragement from Sakamoto Mashiro and Kang Yeseo, who are in the same cell as Huang Xing Qiao, they were able to create a high-quality stage. And as a result, Team 1 won in the matchup for covering IZ*ONE's "Fiesta."

The next batch to perform during the "Girls Planet 999" Episode 4 is the two teams that covered Oh My Girls "The Fifth Season."
Team 1 - Oh My Girl's "The Fifth Season"
Team 1 was composed of Kim Bo Ra, Ryu Si On, and Lee Hye Won from the K-Group; Zhang Luo Fei, Liang Jiao, and Chang Ching from the C-Group; and Hayase Hana, Terasaki Hina, and Nagai Manami from the J-Group.
Team 2 - Oh My Girl's "The Fifth Season"
Team 2 comprised Cho Ha Eun, Lee Ra Yeon, Joung Min from the K-Group; Ho Sze Ching, Liang Qiao, and Cui Wen Mei Xiu from the C-Group; and Oki Fuka, Hayashi Fuko, and Kanno Miyu from the J-Group.
In the battle of covering Oh My Girl's "The Fifth Season," Team 1 also took the victory.
Mnet "Girls Planet 999" Episode 4: Contestants Cover BTS "MIC DROP," EXO "The Eve," and SEVENTEEN "Pretty U"
Episode 4 of "Girls Planet 999" also featured different boy group covers, particularly songs by BTS, EXO, and SEVENTEEN.
The team that chose BTS's "MIC DROP" composed of Choi Hye Rin, Han Da Na, and An Jeong Min from the K-Group; Aratake Rinka, Kitajima Yuna, and Fujimoto Ayaka from the J-Group; and Wang Ya Le, Liu Yu Han, and Lin Chen Han from the C-Group.
"EXO The Eve" Team
The team that performed EXO's "The Eve" comprised Kim Su Yeon, You Da Yeon, and Jeong Ji Yoon, from the K-Group; Ezaki Hikaru, Nonaka Shana, and Kamikura Rei from the J-Group; and Fu Ya Ning, Xu Ruo Wei, and Su Rui Qi, from the C-Group.

Finally, the team that covered SEVENTEEN's "Pretty U" consisted of Guinn Myah, Kim Ye Eun, and Lee Yun Ji from the K-Group; Yang Zi Ge, Liu Shi Qi, and Gu Yi Zhou from the C-Group; and Kamimoto Kotone, Ikema Ruan, and Murakami Yume from the J-Group.
In the matchup of boy group covers for "Connect Mission," the "Pretty U" team won.
Team 1 - TWICE's "YES or YES"
Among the five winning teams, Team 1 for TWICE's "YES or YES" was chosen as the best-performing team, hence, they will be given the chance to appear on Mnet's "M Countdown."
Team 1 was composed of Huh Ji Won, Kim Chae Hyun, Kim Hye Rim from the K-Group; Chia Yi, Li Yiman, and Ma Yu Ling from the C-Group; and Kuwahara Ayana, Okuma Sumomo, and Yamauchi Moana from the J-Group.
