All four BLACKPINK members will participate in the 2022 Paris Fashion Week in France!
According to the news, the quartet will attend the event based on the brand's schedule where they are selected as global ambassadors.
On September 24, it was reported that global K-pop group BLACKPINK will leave for Paris, France on September 25 and attend the 2022 Spring/Summer Paris Fashion Week.
All BLACKPINK Members to Attend Paris Fashion Week
According to YG Entertainment, BLACKPINK members Lisa, Jennie, Jisoo, and Rosé will leave for Paris, France, at 1:20 p.m. on September 25.
Along with this, it was confirmed that all four members will attend the 2022 Spring/Summer Paris Fashion Week.
In particular, Paris Fashion week is the most sought event of fashion enthusiasts as this is the world's most prestigious and influential fashion show which is held twice a year.
As part of the "Big 4" global fashion weeks, Paris Fashion week is only attended by famous and most respected brands, models, and fashion icons.
For the spring/summer week, the annual Paris event will be held from the 27th to the 5th of October.
Meanwhile, it was not yet confirmed if Jennie will be able to leave the country together with the other members due to changes in her schedules.
BLACKPINK to Conquer Paris Fashion Week as Global Ambassadors of their Respective Luxury Brands
Aside from being the current and hottest female idols in the world, BLACKPINK members are also dominating the fashion industry as global ambassadors for the world's leading luxury brands including Chanel, Dior, Celine, and Saint Laurent.
As mentioned, the Paris Fashion Week is considered the most prestigious and leading fashion event among the world's top four fashion shows – that's why it is rare for a whole group to attend the event at once.
But BLACKPINK is truly powerful. Jisoo was chosen for Dior, Lisa by Celine, Rosé for Saint Laurent, and Jennie by Chanel as its representatives. In context, the members represent their respective luxury brands not only in a certain country or region but globally.
In this case, each member of BLACKPINK is expected to attend the event based on the brand's schedule where they are active as ambassadors.
Based on the schedule, Jisoo will attend The Dior collection at 2:30 p.m. on September 28, along with Rosé for the Saint Laurent collection at 8 p.m. on the same day.
Meanwhile, Chanel's collection where Jennie will participate is scheduled at 10:30 a.m. on October 5, the last day of the event.
Most of the collections are broadcast live or recorded due to the COVID-19 incident.
Fashion and entertainment officials are paying keen attention to K-pop stars' moves to Paris Fashion Week, led by BLACKPINK. In particular, public attention is expected to be paid to what schedule Jennie will work with G-Dragon, a member of BIGBANG who is also working as Chanel Global Ambassador.
