Cho Joo Bin, the notorious perpetrator of the "Nth Room" on Telegram, received a lowered sentence of 42 years in prison. Amid the anger of the citizens, fans of BLACKPINK Jisoo also expressed their concern after being revealed that Joo Bin stole her personal information before.

On October 14, the Supreme Court in Korea lowered the sentence of Cho Joo Bin to 42 years after sexual exploitation of minors through the Telegram's chat room called "Nth Room."

The lowered judgment enraged Korean citizens and online users who took to the web to remind people of his hideous crimes.

One post from FM Korea concerning Jisoo attracted attention for revealing that the BLACKPINK member's personal information was also stolen by the suspect.

Cho Joo Bin, who was put on trial for distributing sexual exploitation of minors through the "Nth Room, was sentenced to 42 years in prison.

On October 14, the second division of the Supreme Court (Chief Justice Lee Dong Won) dismissed Cho Joo Bin's appeal and confirmed the lower judgment sentenced to 42 years in prison from 45 years.

The Supreme Court also maintained orders, such as disclosure and notification of personal information for 10 years, restrictions on employment at welfare facilities for children and youth, attachment of location tracking electronic devices (electronic anklets) for 30 years, and an additional charge of 100 million won.

As a result, netizens expressed their anger, emphasizing that 42 years is short given the trauma he caused to all the victims and their families.

Along with this, internet users also paid attention to the fact that Cho Joo Bin also tried to steal the personal information of girl groups.

According to MBC's April report, Cho Joo Bin bought a social service worker and asked them to take out personal information of famous girl group members. Some netizens then revealed that among the girl group members is Jisoo.

On the same day, a netizen posted now-deleted images in FM Korea that showed the conversation that contains Jisoo's privacy.

According to the post, the "Nth Room" criminal conducted a background check on BLACKPINK Jisoo in 2018 for three months.

However, he gave up after saying, "Jisoo doesn't meet men," adding, "She doesn't do anything when she enters the house even turning the lights."
