EXO Kai debuted as a solo artist with his first mini-album "KAI," released in November 2020. The album has six songs, including the title song "Mmmh," "Nothing On Me," "Amnesia," "Reason," "Ride or Die," and "Hello Stranger."
On October 29, 2021, EXO's official Instagram page posted a congratulatory poster for Kai's milestone as his "Mmmh" MV reached 100 million views on YouTube.
"Mmmh" is the title track from Kai's self-titled solo debut album. Upon release, it charted in 70 countries on iTunes Songs Chart and was No. 1 in a total of 42 countries.
Particularly, the title song "Mmmh" is a song of RNB pop genre. It combines a simple yet addictive melody with a minimalist track.
Kai's "Mmmh" became the first SM Entertainment track to top the chart in 42 countries on the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart.
The song was released in November 2020, and it immediately topped worldwide charts. It particularly dominated the iTunes album charts in around 50 countries, along with his first solo mini album.

Kai's debut mini-album has secured the No. 1 spot on iTunes album charts in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Mexico, New Zealand, UAE, and more.

Meanwhile, EXO Kai has also been seen on the top spot of major Chinese music platforms like KuGou Music, QQ Music and others.
As of Sept. 15, the most-streamed song by Kai is "Mmmh," which has accumulated over 60 million streams. It is his first song to reach this milestone.

EXO Kai to Make His Solo Comeback in November
On October 26, SM Entertainment confirmed EXO main dancer Kai is now gearing up for his sophomore album, to be released by the end of November.
Further details regarding his new album are yet to be revealed.
When EXO Kai successfully completed his first solo album, he has been active in different entertainment programs, like "The Devil Wears Jeongnam 2," "Idol Dictation Contest," and "Woodo Bar."
Moreover, he will also appear in Netflix's "From the New World," set for release in November.
Meanwhile, EXO released their special album "DON"T FIGHT THE FEELING" in June, which commemorates the nonet's nine years together and as their gift to EXO-Ls (EXO fandom).
