ENHYPEN Heeseung Recovering from Surgery

Belift Lab, ENHYPEN's management agency, stated through the global fan community platform Weverse that Heeseung felt pain in his right toe during their promotions. 

After he was taked to the hospital, he was diagnosed with an epidermal cyst, and he was advised by the doctors that immediate treatment was needed. He immediately had surgery the next day.

Heeseung is now resting, according to the doctor's advice, and that he needed a week to recover from the surgery. He is to sit out some of the group's scheduled activities as he regains his health.

Belift lab stated that if Heeseung's recovery is slow, he will be participating in a limited performance on the stage of the fan meeting, scheduled to be held on November 19.

The agency will be watching Heeseung' recovery progress and make a decision in a way that is reasonable.

Here is Belift Lab's statement about Heeseung's recovery:

Hello.

This is BELIFT LAB.

We would like to provide the following information on the current health status of ENHYPEN member Heeseung.

While taking part in activities for ENHYPEN's first studio album, Heeseung experienced pain in one of his right toes and visited a hospital for examination, and was diagnosed with an epidermoid cyst. Following physician advice for timely treatment, Heeseung underwent surgery on Monday, November 1, immediately after the conclusion of album promotions. Heeseung is currently resting as doctors recommended a week of rest and recuperation.

However, should recovery take longer than expected, we ask for your understanding that Heeseung may be participating in a limited capacity for some of the performances for the 2021 ENHYPEN [EN-CONNECT: COMPANION] fan meeting, scheduled for the 19th. We will continue to monitor Heeseung's recovery and determine his level of participation by taking into consideration physician advice and the artist's condition to make sure that he is not unduly strained.

BELIFT LAB will continue to place the highest priority on artist health and safety and will do our utmost to ensure that Heeseung can join all fans healthy and well.

ENGENEs Wish for Heeseung's Speedy Recovery

Since Belift lab announced about Heeseung's surgery and recovery, ENGENEs (ENHYPEN's Fandom name) are expressing their recovery wishes to the K-pop idol. They are hoping that he will be back on his feet and performing with ENHYPEN once again.

Meanwhile, Heeseung's K-Pop group, ENHYPEN, released their first full-length album, "DIMENSION: DILEMMA," last October 12, and they promoted it with the single "Tamed-Dashed."
