Super Junior Shindong Tests Positive for COVID-19, To Go Under Self-Quarantine
Super Junior Shindong is now under self-quarantine after testing positive for COVID-19. Meanwhile, fans should not be worried because he did not have any contact with the other members in the past few days.

Super Junior Shindong Tests Positive of COVID-19, To Undergo Self-Quarantine
SJ Label, the agency that manages Shindong, declared on November 12, "Shindong was classified as a close contact of the confirmed person and was tested, and he tested positive the day before and is currently in self-quarantine."
Shindong was classified before as the first contact of a confirmed COVID-19 positive patient, then he underwent a PCR test last November 10.
Fortunately, the other Super Junior members did not have any close contact with Shindong, so they did not have a PCR test.

When his PCR test result came back positive, Shindong and SJ label immediately postponed his upcoming activities. Moreover, it was also revealed that Shindong did not come in contact with his fellow "Knowing Brothers" cast members after he had a close contact with a COVID-19 positive.
It has been confirmed that Shindong's case is a breakthrough infection. He previously received the Janssen vaccine and he was about to receive a moderna booster shot in the following week in order to enhance the preventive effect.
The other Super Junior members have already completed their vaccinations.
Shindong is currently active as a singer and he recently appears in different entertainment programs. He is one of the casts of JTBC's "Knowing Bros" and SBS Plus' "Love Master Season 2." Because he is now under quarantine, his schedule of appearance for the programs is already adjusted.
Super Junior Shindong's Recent Activities
SuJu's Shindong was revealed to have directing credits by working on MAKAMAKA's "Hey U" Music Video.
BLUEMOON Entertainment, MAKAMAKA's agency, announced last August that Shindong participated in the comeback of the rookie girl group MAKAMAKA.
Aside from that, Shindong has worked on music videos for other artists. He previously directed the MVs for DAVICHER's 'Hot Cool Sexy," "Koyote's "Delete," and space hipster's "Hanryang,"
The Super Junior member also worked on the stage videos of his group Super Junior, also on EXO and NCT 127. He has been acknowledged for his skills as a director.
He then took part in Super Junior's latest comeback with their tenth full-length album, "The Renaissance."
The K-pop group's album "The Renaissance" marked the group's first comeback with all nine active members after two years since their ninth studio album "Time Slip," was released in October 2019.
Shindong also appeared in various television shows and dramas like "Friends," "Idol Challenge: Another Class," "Love Master," and "ONAIR - Secret Contract."

Super Junior Gets a Nomination at the 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards
Mnet announced the nominees for this year's Mnet Asian Music Awards.
The 2021 MAMA made many changes to the categories and the voting method. For the Grand Prize like the Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the year, and also the Bonsangs, the winner will be chosen by professional judges with a criteria.

Concurrently, the Grand Prize award for Worldwide Icon of the Year and Bonsang award for Worldwide Fans' Choice Top 10 will be decided based on fan votes worldwide.
Super Junior is nominated in one category, Worldwide Fans' Choice Top 10.
This year's MAMA will be broadcast live on December 11 (KST). Beginning with the red carpet at 4 PM (KST), then the awards ceremony will come after at 6 PM (KST).
