Park Myung Soo Slammed for Making TWICE Dahyun and Tzuyu Uncomfortable
On November 17, TWICE members Dahyun and Tzuyu made a guest appearance on "Park Myung Soo's Radio Show," which is hosted by comedian and television personality Park Myung Soo. The girls appeared on the program to promote their latest comeback, "SCIENTIST."
During the program, Park Myung Soo was accused of making Dahyun and Tzuyu uncomfortable with questions that listeners believed were out of line. For example, Park Myung Soo had asked the two idols if they would wait for two years if they had boyfriends who had to go to the military.

He also brought up the rank of TWICE's latest single, "SCIENTIST," on the Korean music charts. "SCIENTIST" received neutral responses on the chart and is not TWICE's best-performing single. Many believed that Park Myung Soo bringing up TWICE's chart performance could make the girls uncomfortable and even feel bad over how the song was performing.
He also singled out Tzuyu several times during the conversation. He pointed out that the idol is a foreigner and repeatedly asked if she could follow the conversation. He would also ask her several times if she could understand what they were saying. Tzuyu is from Taiwan but moved to South Korea in 2012, meaning she has been in the country for nine years. As a result, she is able to speak Korean fluently.

Lastly, listeners pointed out Park Myung Soo had a pushy tone while speaking to Dahyun and Tzuyu. Many believe that the way he spoke could have made the two TWICE members feel uncomfortable.
Some of the comments from listeners who tuned into the radio show read, "Park Myung Soo is just horrible. Dahyun and Tzuyu did so well, but they should probably never guest on his show ever again" and "Park Myung Soo's radio question are seriously terrible. Another reason translator did not immediately live translate could be that the official TWICE accounts, which JYP Entertainment runs, did not announce this schedule. Please do some work, DIV3."

Many hope JYP Entertainment never sends any TWICE members to "Park Myung Soo's Radio Show." The company has yet to release a statement on the matter.
