VIXX Ravi Announces (G)I-DLE Soyeon as the Collaboration Artist in His New Single "ANI"
On Nov. 25 at midnight KST, Ravi made a surprise announcement that he would make a solo comeback next month. He teased that he would join forces with a mystery artist for his new single, entitled "ANI (feat. ???).
Although VIXX Ravi didn't mention the artist's name, he did give a hint on his Twitter account, where he shared that "ANI" will feature a "24-year-old genius musician."
On Nov. 26, Ravi officially unveiled the mystery artist who collaborated with him in his new single, and it is none other than (G)I-DLE Soyeon.

Through his Instagram account, the VIXX member shared a photo of him with Jeon Soyeon, and the words "ANI" can be seen at the bottom of the picture.
Since her debut in (G)I-DLE, Soyeon has been recognized for her skills in writing lyrics for, composing, and producing hit songs. Not to mention, she directly participates in creating songs for his group's albums as well as for her solo albums.
Some of the songs that Soyeon made are "LATATA," "HAN," "LION," "Oh My God," "Uh-Oh," "Senorita," "Dumdi Dumdi," "Beam Beam" and "Weather."
Following VIXX Ravi's announcement of his collaboration with Jeon Soyeon, expectations have arisen as to what the two artists with unique musical colors and outstanding skills will show.
Meanwhile, VIXX Ravi and (G)I-DLE Soyeon's "ANI" is set for release on Dec. 7 at 6 p.m. KST.
VIXX Ravi's Latest Solo Comeback with His Fourth Mini-Album "Roses"
On June 3, Ravi made his first solo comeback with a new mini-album, entitled "Roses." This is his first solo music release in almost a year since his summer mini-album "Paradise" was dropped in July 2020.

VIXX Ravi's "Roses" consists of seven songs in total. One of them is the title track "CARDIGAN," which Ravi co-produced alongside Wonstein (who is also featured in the song) and Clam took part in the songwriting. Aside from "CARDIGAN," the track "FLOWER GARDEN" also serves as the album's title song.
"Roses" ranked inside the Top 10 of iTunes K-pop Album charts in six countries immediately after its release. At the same time, the title song "CARDIGAN" ranked No. 30 on the U.S. iTunes Hip Hop Chart, becoming the first Korean artist to land on the chart since 2019.

In addition to this, VIXX Ravi's "CARDIGAN" entered the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart at No. 22, proving his global popularity.
For the week ending on June 19 this year, "CARDIGAN" debuted on the global chart together with other K-pop songs of top-tier artists like EXO, TWICE, NCT 127, and MAMAMOO.
Meanwhile, on YouTube, the music video for VIXX Ravi's "CARDIGAN" surpassed one million views in four days and crossed two million views after nine days of its release. As of writing, the number of views for the "CARDIGAN" MV has exceeded 3.2 million.
