Lovelyz Kei Diet and Workout Routine: How Does the 'Ah Choo' Singer Lose Weight?

Kei rose to prominence after making her debut as the main vocalist of the Woollim Entertainment-formed girl group, Lovelyz. Since the group's debut back in November 14, Kei has made a name for herself in the industry as a singer and solo artist. Besides being known for her amazing vocals, Kei is also looked up to as an inspiration for diet secrets.

With that, how does the "Ah Choo" singer lose weight? Here's what we know about Kei's diet and workout routine so far!

Lovelyz Kei's Workout Routine

Even prior to her debut as a member of Lovelyz, Kei has always had a slim figure, which can be attributed to her amazing genes and being naturally thin.

She currently stands at 162cm (5'3") and is the second shortest member among the eight Lovelyz members. As for her weight, she ranges somewhere between 45kg to 49kg. Although she doesn't exactly need to lose weight based on her petite body fame, Woollim Entertainment still has the group lose weight together.

When it comes to her workout routine, it's natural for Kei to have dance practices as her main form of workout, just like any other idol in the K-Pop industry.

Dancing is a good form of cardio exercise, which not only helps you burn excess fat and calories, but is also a more fun exercise to do!

Back when Lovelyz was still in the early stages of their career, they revealed that they would practice dancing for at least seven hours a day. But over the years, its natural for idols to lessen the hours they commit to dancing, and would often just spend at least an hour and a half.

And since Lovelyz is now on an indefinite hiatus, it is likely that she is not dancing as much as she did before.

Other than dancing, Kei also likes to stretch and do simple yoga when she wakes up. She also likes to move a lot and makes sure she's doing something.

In addition, Kei also does pilates from time to time - a good exercise that targets the entire body and will help tone the muscles!

Lovelyz Kei's Diet Plan

When it comes to Kei's diet plan, Woollim Entertainment had restricted their diet a lot, such as not allowing them to eat in the evening, and would often pack their own lunch boxes to control what they consume.

Kei had also mentioned that when she's in a diet, she eats little by little, but several times in a day.

For the times she gets hungry, she would drink some milk to fill herself up for the time being.

Over the years, Woollim Entertainment had become more lenient with Lovelyz's diets.

For Kei, she decided to stick to a low-carb diet, and leaned more towards eating proteins such as chicken breast, eggs, and the like. She also eats as much vegetables as she can.
