BTS Jin, Jimin, and Jungkook Return to South Korea First + To Undergo Quarantine

BTS members Jin, Jimin, and Jungkook are to return to South Korea first, while the rest of the members will follow on a later schedule.

After their successful four-day concert in Los Angeles, BTS Jin, Jimin, and Jungkook are the first ones to return to South Korea. Their flight was scheduled last December 4 and they are expected to arrive at Incheon International Airport on December 6 .

Upon arrival, the three BTS members will have to go through a PCR test and a 10-day self-quarantine first.

Because of the changed quarantine guidelines, some domestic activities of BTS have been cancelled until further notice.

On December 1, the South Korean government announced a plan to quarantine all those who will arrive from other countries for 10 days regardless of whether they were vaccinated. This is in order to block the inflow of the mutation and prevent the domestic transmission of the new COVID-19 variant, Omicron.

Due to this, a lot of domestic schedules planned for BTS were cancelled and moved to another date.

It has been confirmed that the septet would not attend the 2021 Mnet Asia Music Awards, to be held on December 11.

BTS wrapped-up their first face-to-face concert "Permission To Dance on Stage - LA" at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, U.S.A. last December 2. After that, BTS will appear on the 2021 Jingle Ball Tour, the biggest year-end tour currently held by iHeart Radio.

BTS Sets New Record with 'Permission To Dance On Stage - LA'

After their successful concert series in Los Angeles, BTS left a new record in the global music market.

On December 5, Billboard's Box Score announced that more than 214,000 tickets were sold for the fourth day of "Permission to Dance on Stage," the first face-to-face performance of BTS in two years.

The concert earned $33.3 million from ticket sales alone, which sets the record for a single concert in California.

Moreover, the record is the second highest ticket sales for BTS following the $38 million in single concert sales held in Buenos Aires, Argentina by Roger Waters of Pink Floyd in 2012.

Billboard reported that BTS' "Permission To Dance On Stage - LA" has the largest box score in the United States after 18 years. Moreover, it is the second-largest concert in North America after Bruce Springsteen's performance in New York, which recorded $38.7 million.

BTS is set to continue their concert in Korea. Big Hit Entertainment announced the septet's Seoul concert with the caption "SEE YOU IN SEOUL. MARCH 2022."
