In a survey conducted by the Korean media outlet Top Star News, BTS member Jimin was named the "Vocal King of K-Pop."

BTS Jimin Named the Vocal King of K-Pop

Recently, Korean media outlet Top Star News conducted a survey from December 2 to December 8 titled, "Who are the best K-Pop vocal kings and queens in Korea?"

Through the survey conducted, they were able to determine who netizens consider the kings and queens of K-Pop when it comes to vocals. For the male category, a total of 762,380 votes were sent in.

And taking the top spot and earning the title of "Vocal King of K-Pop" is none other than BTS member Jimin, who garnered a total of 324,900 out of the 762,380 votes!

Jimin is the main dancer and lead vocalist of the group. Ever since making his debut back in 2013, Jimin has been heavily praised for his amazing and sweet vocals.

In fact, prior to making his debut as a member of BTS and becoming a trainee at HYBE, Jimin did not receive any professional vocal training until officially joining his current label. This fact alone had surprised many due to his amazing vocal tone and high pitch.

And despite not receiving any prior vocal training, it only took Jimin six months as a trainee to make his debut in the entertainment industry as BTS' lead vocalist.

Over the years, Jimin has shown impressive improvement in his vocals, such as mastering different high-level vocal techniques that music and vocal experts can't help but praise constantly.

ENHYPEN Sunoo and Heeseung Selected as the Second and Third Vocal Kings of K-Pop

Coming in next as the second "Vocal King of K-Pop" is fellow labelmate, ENHYPEN's Sunoo! For this survey, Sunoo snagged a total of 125,380 votes.

While ENHYPEN doesn't have any official positions among the members, fans identify Sunoo as the group's lead vocalist and dancer.

Despite being a rookie idol who only made their debut back in 2020, Sunoo had already proven himself as one of the rising vocalists in the industry for his charming voice.

Ranking at third place is Sunoo's fellow ENHYPEN member, Heeseung, who garnered a total of 75,450 out of 762,380 votes in the survey. Although this isn't his official position in the group, Heeseung is seen by fans as the main vocalist, lead dancer, and rapper of the group.
