CL Performs 'Lover Like Me' for the First Time on 'The Kelly Clarkson Show'
Former 2NE1 member CL recently made her first appearance as a K-Pop solo artist on NBC's "Kelly Clarkson Show" which aired early in the morning of December 10 (KST). During the episode, she performed the first broadcast of "Lover Like Me," which is the second single from her first full album, "ALPHA."
CL received endless praises from Kelly Clarkson for her stage costumes, perfect live performance and sensuous performances that showed a different charm on the stage. Kelly Clarkson shared about CL that she loves her vibe.
While preparing for the show, Kelly watched the rehearsals and she also praised the backup dancers for having superb stage confidence and for delivering a good performance.
Moreover, the two global singers talked about CL's musical inspirations as a child, John Malkovich's participation in the album, the inspiration that came from Mike Tyson's podcast during the album's creation, and lastly they talked about CL's iconic Met Gala hanbok.

On November 30th, London, UK 'ALPHA LONDON POP UP SHOW' sold out and finished with great success, and on the 3rd, at 'JingleBall Village,' a pre-show of 'JingleBall' held in L.A. They put on a passionate stage.

Last November 30, CL held her show, "ALPHA LONDON POP UP SHOW," in London, United Kingdom. Her show's tickets were immediately sold out and it finished with great success.
While waiting in a long line, CL's fans received a box of pizza each from the K-Pop star. CL said that it was very exhausting while waiting in a long line for the show and the fans must be very hungry that is why she ordered pizza for them. Because of this, the audience regained their energy and they made CL's show more energetic than ever.

Last December 3 at 3 PM (PST), CL lit up the stage and participated in the "Jingle Ball Village" Pre-show along with Anitta, Tai Verdes, and Trevor Daniel. She performed her songs Lover Like Me, Hello B*, and Tie A Cherry.
The status of K-pop all over the world is growing day by day. In the United States, which is recognized as the center of global pop music, the popularity of K-pop stars is skyrocketing.
