Did Park Bom Agree with CL's Revelation on How She Knew about 2NE1's Disbandment?

On Dec. 17, former 2NE1 member Park Bom uploaded a picture of a teddy bear to her Instagram account. While nothing is interesting about the stuffed toy, the caption of the post caught the attention of fans.

In the caption of Park Bom's now-deleted Instagram post, she wrote nothing but "That's right..." The idol further increased people's curiosity after she deleted her post shortly afterward.

Earlier, in an interview with AP Entertainment, the reporter mentioned Minzy revealing to them in the past that she discovered 2NE1 has disbanded only through the media. CL was then asked how she learned about it.

In response, the "SPICY" singer said that she found out about her group's disbandment the same way as Minzy knew about it. She added that she was at a thanksgiving dinner at that time and her phone "blew up," suggesting that she received lots of calls/text messages regarding the news.

CL then confessed that the news of 2NE1's disbandment was "heartbreaking" for her.

For this reason, netizens' attention is focused on whether the caption under Park Bom's now-deleted Instagram post on this day is related to CL's revelation.

Meanwhile, some are speculating that Park Bom's cryptic caption, "That's right," is her response to fans' suspicion that she was in an emergency room or a hospital room. Such speculation was made after she went live on Instagram on Dec. 16 and she was seen in what seems to be a room at a hospital.

Park Bom's Latest Solo Comeback with 'Do Re Mi Fa Sol'

In other news, Park Bom made her last comeback as a soloist in March this year. She released a new single, titled "Do Re Mi Fa Sol," which features Korean rapper Changmo. This is her first release after her year-long hiatus since "Red Light," her collab with Sai Sai Kham Leng.

Over on the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart, "Do Re Mi Fa Sol" entered at No. 29 with over 4500 points, becoming the former 2NE1 member's highest entry since "Spring" in March 2019.

In South Korea, Park Bom's "Do Re Mi Fa Sol" (feat. Changmo) debuted on Genie and Bugs at No. 17 and No. 30 respectively.
