Kep1er Surpasses 180,000 Pre-Orders for Debut Mini-Album 'FIRST IMPACT', to Hold Debut Show
According to a music official on December 27 KST, Kep1er, the project girl group formed through Mnet's survival show "Girls Planet 999," had recently recorded more than 180,000 pre-order sales alone for their debut mini-album "FIRST IMPACT," through official domestic online stores.
This feat is especially impressive for a rookie girl group that has not yet made their debut, as it is not often that an upcoming girl group would achieve a pre-order sales figure of 150,000 album copies.
Since "Girls Planet 999," Kep1er has been receiving a lot of attention from K-Pop fans all over the world, and many are anticipating what kind of music they would release.
With their growing popularity, it can be expected that their album "FIRST IMPACT" would reach the 200,000 mark sometime soon.
In addition, in light of their highly-anticipated debut, Kep1er will be holding a debut show on the day of their album release in January.
According to Mnet's digital studio M2, Kep1er's debut show will be broadcasted simultaneously on Mnet's TV channel and on the official Youtube channel of M2 on January 3, 2022 at 8pm KST.
At the debut show, Kep1er will be unveiling their new songs, including the title track of their debut album, "WA DA DA," as well as reveal for the first time their global fandom name.

In addition, "Your Profile," where the members of Kep1er will write each other's profile, will also take place during the debut show.
The debut show will also release a special VCR that will give a glimpse of the group's practice room, as well as their version and performance of "Shine," which was first released through "Girls Planet 999."
Meanwhile, Kep1er is a nine-member girl group, which features members Choi Yujin, Shen Xiaoting, Sakamoto Mashiro, Kim Chaehyun, Kim Dayeon, Ezaki Hikaru, Huening Bahiyyih, Seo Yongeun, and Kang Yeseo.
Their group name, "Kep1er," is a combination of "Kep," which means to catch a dream, and the number "1," that means nin girls coming together as one to become the best.
Kep1er is set to debut on January 3 at 6pm KST, and will be promoting as a group for two years and six months.
Kep1er Unveils Schedule for 'FIRST IMPACT'
After having to postpone their debut following a COVID-19 positive staff member, and subsequently members Sakamoto Mashiro and Shen Xiaoting, Kep1er will finally push forward with their debut.
According to their updated schedule ahead of the release of "FIRST IMPACT," a connection film will be released on December 27, and a tracklist on December 28.
