In an interview with Sports Seoul, nine K-pop idols who will turn into adults this year, ITZY Yuna, ENHYPEN Sunoo, IVE Yujin, STAYC Seeun and more, revealed their birthday wishes and plans for 2022.  

This year, K-pop idols born in 2003 who debuted in their adolescence are now ready to stand at the center of K-pop as they become adults as they turn 20 (based on Korean age).

Here are the Birthday Wishes and Plans of These 9 K-pop Idols Born in 2003 Who Will Turn 20 in 2022:

1. VERIVERY Kangmin

The male idol who will turn 20 on January 25 expressed that he hopes to be a better person and to do more activities in 2022.

"I want to have a beer with my parents," Kangmin added, which is one of his small wishes on his special day.

 2. ITZY Yuna

Yuna, the maknae of ITZY who will celebrate her birthday in December, emphasized her excitement on what will be the starting point of her 20s.

As her birthday wish, Yuna said, "My wishlist for my 20s is ITZY's offline concert with my fans!," adding, "In 2022, I want to grow into a better person to repay the warm support and love I received. I hope that ITZY members and fans' hard work pays off this year!"

3. CRAVITY Taeyoung

Taeyoung, who will celebrate his birthday on January 22, wishes to see LUVITY face-to-face and to be back to normal.

He also conveyed his thoughts and said, "I'm very excited about how important my 20s will be in my life and what new pages I'll write."

4. CRAVITY Seongmin

Seongmin who will also turn 20 in August wishes for the safety of his co-CRAVITY members. On top of that, the idol expressed his desire to study foreign languages and meet overseas fans in 2022, along with working hard in sports.

5. STAYC Seeun

"The wish list I want to achieve in my 20s is that I want to drive alone and travel, and I want to show you more diverse aspects of me," Seeun said.

Despite her worries, the female star who will become 20 years old in June aims to spend her 20s with fans and to become closer with them.

6. ENHYPEN Sunoo

Sunoo, a soon-to-be adult in June also wishes to spend his 20s with ENGENE.

"In my 20s, I want to be an artist who gives strength to someone, and I want to be a cool adult. [...] In 2022, I hope there will be more happy and enjoyable things than last year, and I hope the situation gets better and it will be a year where we can take off our mask."

7. EPEX Keum Dong Hyun

To celebrate his 20s, Dong Hyun attests to creating more memories and happiness with their fandom, ZENITH.

8. EPEX MU

" The wish list I want to achieve in my 20s is that I hope EPEX becomes more famous. And as I did in my teens, I hope my 20s will shine happily and brilliantly. Also, I hope that in 2022, our team and I will grow and mature more than 2021," Suh Kyung Min said.

9. IVE Yujin

Yujin, who re-debuted as a member and leader of IVE aspires to have a 'real adult' with a more mature mindset to play her role well in the group.

As for her small wishes, Yujin said, "When I turn 20, I think it would be nice to take the lead in camping or traveling with the members."
