Back in September 2016, the Korean news outlet Sports Donga released an exclusive report revealing that Wonder Girls Yeeun and 2AM Jeong Jinwoon have been a couple for nearly three years. The article cited a source within the industry that claimed the two have been dating since 2014 after becoming friends under the same agency, JYP Entertainment. It was said that they became close with each other because of their similar thoughts and taste in music.
According to other sources within the industry, Yeeun would record the demo version of her self-composed songs with Jeong Jinwoon while the latter plays the guitar. It is also said that the two gave each other instruments as gifts.

Moreover, sources said that former Wonder Girls member Yeeun and 2AM member Jeong Jinwoon managed to keep their relationship a secret for a long time because they were once managed by the same company and they would hang out with other people during their dates.
At the time the dating news came out, Jeong Jinwoon is under Mystic Entertainment (his current agency) while Yeeun was still under JYP Entertainment (she is currently managed by Amoeba Culture).
Following the report, JYP Entertainment and Mystic Entertainment (now called Mystic Story) both confirmed that the two are dating. They said in a joint statement that the two became lovers from friends at the beginning of 2014 with music as the common denominator.

In April 2017, sources stated that Yeeun and Jeong Jinwoon have ended their relationship as lovers. It was said that they decided to remain as colleagues.
One source asserted that the celebrity couple didn't have a specific reason for breaking up and that they naturally became distant from each other.

After former Wonder Girls member Yeeun broke up with 2AM Jeong Jinwoon, she didn't date anyone since then. No reports about her being in a relationship with someone were issued as of 2021.
