(G)I-DLE Yuqi Reveals She Wants to be BFFs With This aespa Member
On January 20, 2022, (G)I-DLE member Yuqi held a solo live stream through Naver's V Live. The idol spent two hours relaxing there, catching up with fans and replying to comments. The Chinese idol revealed which K-pop idol she wanted to be friends with during the stream.
In Chinese, Yuqi revealed that she likes and wants to be friends with aespa member Ningning! The "Bonnie & Clyde" songstress confessed that she often watches aespa stages. However, she revealed that she is too shy to ask Ningning for her WeChat herself, so she cutely asks MYs (aespa's supporters) to ask Ningning for her!

Yuqi also revealed that she actually had a chance to meet Ningning in the past but was ultimately unable to meet since she had a schedule.
Both Yuqi and Ningning hail from China, with Yuqi from Beijing and Ningning from Harbin. The two have an age difference of three years, meaning they could potentially have a cute jiejie-meimei (older sister-younger sister) connection if they meet and become friends!

But Ningning is not the only female idol Yuqi could be befriending soon! A Korean viewer commented that LOONA member Chuu also wants to be friends with her during the live stream. Yuqi read the comment aloud and revealed how shocked she was to hear that.
She said, "Really?! Chuu is so cute; she is really so cute! So cute! When she smiles, she is very pretty."

Yuqi then speaks to Chuu directly, saying that if she ever sees this, to contact her.
During an online fan sign in 2020, Chuu confessed she wanted to be friends with (G)I-DLE members Shuhua and Yuqi. She revealed that she once saw them in Garosu-gil, Seoul, but never got the chance to say hi.

(G)I-DLE Recent Activities
(G)I-DLE had their first performance as a five-member group on January 16, 2022. The girl group performed at the 2022 Expo 2020 Dubai music festival in Jubilee Park. This is (G)I-DLE's first performance in five months and since Soojin's departure.
On August 14, 2021, CUBE Entertainment announced that Soojin had left the group. However, she is still signed as an artist under CUBE Entertainment.
(G)I-DLE's last musical release was "Last Dance" on April 29. The song was released in collaboration with the K-pop platform Universe.
