Choi Yujin and (G)I-DLE Miyeon Show Off Their Friendship During Kep1er’s Encore Stage on ‘M Countdown’
Following Kep1er's first music show win on "M Countdown," Choi Yujin and (G)I-DLE member Yujin proved they are total besties during the encore stage. Keep on reading for all the details.
Choi Yujin and (G)I-DLE Miyeon Boast Long-Term Friendship During Kep1er's Encore Stage on 'M Countdown'
On January 13, 2022, Kep1er took home their first music show win for "WA DA DA" on "M Countdown." The girl group was up against IVE, who was nominated for first place for "ELEVEN." Kep1er ultimately took home the trophy with a total score of 6,500, while IVE ranked second with a score of 6,046.

During their win, Kep1er thanked their fandom, Kep1ian, and those who supported them for their love and support. They also thanked their make-up, hairstylists, and staff members who helped them. They also thanked their parents. Finally, Kep1er promised to work even harder in the future. During the speech, several members were spotted shedding tears. Specifically, Choi Yujin, Kang Yeseo, Mashiro, Kim Dayeon, and Seo Youngeun were all seen with tears in their eyes.
Following their speeches, the girls started their encore stage. After the hosts and Kep1er bowed to one another, the male MC Nam Yoon Su left the stage. However, (G)I-DLE member and MC Miyeon lingered on stage a little longer to personally congratulate Choi Yujin for their win!

The two were spotted hugging each other and smiling brightly, speaking to one another. They were also seen linking fingers before Mieyon had to leave the stage. Though short, the interaction definitely warmed viewers' hearts.
The two are both artists under Cube Entertainment. Choi Yujin trained under Cube Entertainment for four years and debuted in CLC in 2015. Miyeon, on the other hand, became a trainee under Cube Entertainment in 2017 and debuted with (G)I-DLE in 2018. Despite meeting each other when Yujin already debuted, CLC and (G)I-DLE are known for being close, so it is no surprise a friendship between the two blossomed over the years.
