Former AOA Jimin Reveals Current Activities - Is She Going Solo?
On January 21, Jimin posted a photo of her current situation through her Instagram account. In the photo, Jimin is seen working on music and she is telling everyone her current situation with a humorous expression.
Aside from that, Jimin has been posting different photos where she is seen working in a music studio. She drops hints that she is currently working on a new music project.
The hints about Jimin's recent activities began last January 8. Prior to this, she had stopped working in the entertainment industry after the "bullying controversy."
Shin Jimin Leaves AOA After Bullying Controversy
Jimin left AOA and stopped entertainment activities after the revelation that former AOA co-member Mina has been bullied by her in 2020.
Moreover, Shin Jimin left FNC Entertainment after her contract ended.
On January 13, FNC Entertainment said on the official website that Shin Jimin's exclusive contract expired on January 12.
FNC Entertainment declared on the official website, "We would like to inform you that our exclusive contract with our artist Jimin has ended on January 12, 2022."

The agency added, "Although Shin Jimin's relationship with the company has come to an end, we ask for your warm encouragement and support for Jimin's future and future activities."
Meanwhile, Jimin retired from the entertainment industry in 2020 after the bullying controversy of Kwon Mina, former member of the same group, came out.
However, in 2021, the entertainment media Dispatch released transcripts and conversation logs with Mina, Jimin, other AOA members, and managers.
Because of this, Mina has been embroiled in controversies over authority and verbal abuse. Her harassment controversy entered a new phase.

The decision came after Mina, revealed that she had to quit the music industry because one of the AOA members had bullied her in the last 10 years, adding that she considered suicide because of this.
In addition, another social media update claimed that Jimin had sought out Mina along with other AOA members to apologize. Jimin even cried and begged in front of Mina.
However, Mina disputed Jimin's version of the "apology," saying that the latter actually never begged and was still being dishonest.

Jimin announced her retirement from the entertainment business and posted an apology on her Instagram account for not being able to be a good leader of AOA.
After that, she deleted her YouTube channel and then went on a hiatus. Then a few months later, different angles of the bullying controversy came out.
It has been more than a year that passed since the controversy began. Although the heat from the issue had flattened, Jimin finally posted hints of her recent activities on her social media account.
