(G)I-DLE Soyeon Calls Out Trainee Making Excuses During 'My Teenage Girl'
(G)I-DLE member Jeon Soyeon, who is working as a mentor for the fourth-year trainees on MBC's survival program "My Teenage Girl," fires back at a trainee, making excuses.
On January 22, MBC's "My Teenage Girl" pre-released a part of the January 23 broadcast on their official YouTube channel.

The video shows the fourth-year trainees preparing for the "second-semester final exams," or their evaluation stages. In the video, she is seen evaluating the performance of the GFRIEND's "Time for the Moon Night" team, which features trainees Myung Hyung Seo, Kim Yooyeon, Kim Hari, and Lee Mihee.
Myung Hyung Seo, who was in charge of the intro part of the song, started singing her part. However, she suddenly cut herself off and apologized to Jeon Soyeon, saying her throat was not in good condition. The contestant smiled as she apologized and laughed awkwardly.

At this, Jeon Soyeon raised her voice, saying, "How could your throat always not be in good condition? Does that not mean that your throat is just not good?"
The mentor continued, telling the trainee, "Throat condition is also part of your skill. I have nothing to say about that. Do it again."
The surrounding trainees appeared tense as Soyeon raised her voice, with many appearing worried. At Soyeon's request, the "Time for the Moon Night" team started performing again. As they performed, Soyeon kept a sharp eye on them.

In the end, she stated that their performance was alright and that it was not bad. She added that Myung Hyung Seo did a good job but added that she might have a hard time if she continued with complex parts. Soyeon also called out Kim Yooyeon for appearing nervous while she performed and stated she had to perform with the intention of doing well.
Soyeon called out Lee Mihee, saying that she could not hear her voice while performing. She added, "You know that yourself, don't you?"
