Back on January 26, South Korea's "it" girl surprised fans when she made a cameo appearance in Canadian musician Grimes' music video for her latest single "Shinigami Eyes," which is a direct nod to the Japanese manga and anime series "Death Note."
In the music video, Jennie makes a nearly 20-second appearance for her BFF's latest track as she looks fierce and chic as she poses alongside Grimes against the video's various futuristic and psychedelic elements.

While Jennie's presence in the music video alone already caused a worldwide sensation, her gorgeous neon pink outfit is also causing waves on social media!
Despite only appearing close to 20 seconds, costume designers didn't hold back in spending a whopping amount for the BLACKPINK member, with her entire outfit costing more than $71,000 USD!

Designers and coordinators made sure to dress the K-Pop star in equally-stunning pieces like Grimes, with one of her pieces being custom-made just for the music video.
In the music video, Jennie donned a daring bra piece, wearing the Crystal Petal Bra by David Koma, which retails for $2,031 USD. Currently, the Crystal Petal Bra is sold out in all sizes - which isn't a surprise given Jennie's global popularity and influence!

The Crystal Petal Bra is made using jersey and black tulle and features beautiful petal-shaped crystals and glass embroidered at the front. It is also fastened at the back with a metal clasp and has adjustable straps.
Pairing her stunning bra piece, Jennie also wore a custom-made matching neon-pink jacket and pants, which were designed by American fashion designer Asher Levine.
In fact, a bulk of her outfit's cost went towards her neon pink Candy Moto biker jacket, which costs a whopping $69,000 USD!

In addition, the Candy Moto biker jacket is so unique that Jennie is the only person to have ever worn it, as it was initially displayed as a concept piece at the Museum of Modern Art as the "first wearable prototype."
What makes the jacket so unique is that iridescent shells on the back and sleeves can actually be lit up using a mobile app to create a full spectrum of color.
According to designer Asher Levine, the Candy Moto biker jacket was inspired by the sculptures at the Thierry Mugler Couturissime exhibit he attended.
With his beautiful creation, Jennie surely looked otherwordly in Grimes' music video!
