Throughout 2021, the male idol was busy with his solo activities, either as a singer or an actor. It is reported that GOT7 Youngjae's net worth is estimated to be $1 to $5 million.

After joining Sublime Artist Agency in January, Choi Youngjae immediately had scheduled activities. The first one was to perform at Levi's 501 Day Music Concert on April 20. Ahead of the event, the singer was announced as the campaign artist for Levi's Red together with Lim Nayoung.
At Levi's concert, GOT7 member Youngjae performed his self-written song "Lonely" and covered Christopher's "Bad" and Sole's "Ride."

From May 1 to July 25, Youngjae played the lead role of Haram in "Midnight Sun," a musical adaptation of the Japanese film "A Song to the Sun." He starred in 22 out of 95 shows of the musical, which was held at the Kwanglim Arts Center.
GOT7 Youngjae released two of the songs performed at "Midnight Sun" as singles. His version of "Meet Me When the Sun Goes Down" was dropped on April 9, while his collab song "Goodbye Days" with Lovelyz Kei came out on June 7.
On May 7, Choi released his "So I Married the Anti-fan" OST titled "Pop Star." This marks his first soundtrack for a K-drama in 2021.

GOT7 Youngjae's net worth rose after he made his solo debut on Oct. 5 with his first EP "Colors from Ars," which features the title song "Vibin." A total of 19,718 copies of the album were sold on the first day alone, while over 45,000 copies were sold in the first week.
Six days after the album release, Choi Youngjae launched his fall-winter clothes collection in partnership with Korean casual brand Plac. He then starred in the rom-com web series "Love & Wish," which is based on the webtoon of the same name. The main vocalist played the male lead Kim Seung Hyu.
"Love & Wish" starring GOT7 member Youngjae and Choi Yebin was released through domestic and overseas OTT platforms between Dec. and 25 alongside the OST, "Day by Day," which Choi sang.
In December, Youngjae had two schedules. He dropped the digital single "Walk With Me" on Dec. 15 and he performed at the K-pop cheering concert "We All Are One 2021" on Dec. 31.
