Charli XCX Drops 'Beg For You' Teaser With SEVENTEEN Vernon

On Wednesday, Feb. 23, Charli XCX finally dropped a preview of the collaboration track "Beg For You" with SEVENTEEN Vernon!

On her Twitter update, she also tagged Rina Sawayama, who was featured in the original version of "Beg For You."

In the background, SEVENTEEN Vernon, Charli XCX, and Rina are singing the lines from "Beg For You." 

Charli XCX also worked closely with producer A.G. Cook for the "Beg For You" remix. The teaser clip features snapshots of an office and the beautiful blue sky.

Charli XCX, SEVENTEEN Tease Collab For Days

Charli XCX and SEVENTEEN Vernon's collaboration came as somewhat a surprise for their fans. On Monday, Feb. 21, Charli XCX stated her collaboration with Vernon has not yet been finalized.

Prior to the preview release, Charli XCX had been very vocal about wanting to work with the SEVENTEEN member, so she made sure that this would push through.

In fact, CARATs predicted that Charli XCX and SEVENTEEN Vernon's collaboration will be released next month. After all, the "Boom Clap" singer announced that her new album, "Crash," will be released in March 2022. 

SEVENTEEN Vernon a Huge Charli XCX Fan

SEVENTEEN Vernon has been a fan of Charli XCX for years. During his interview with W Magazine in May 2021, Vernon revealed that he loves singing Charli XCX's songs in the shower.

At the time, SEVENTEEN Vernon also shared his journey into being a K-pop idol.

He revealed that he joined the group after a scout approached him while he was on his way to school.

Vernon accepted the offer because training as a K-pop idol sounded more fun than learning things in school.

He revealed that he underwent training for three years before SEVENTEEN debuted in 2015.

On another occasion, SEVENTEEN Vernon was asked to share his recommendations for CARATs. He revealed that he's been into Bladee, Mechatokand, and Charli XCX.

Every now and then, SEVENTEEN Vernon also shares screenshots of Charli XCX's songs while he's listening to them.

If this doesn't make him Charli XCX's number one fan then we don't who is!
