Why TWICE Jihyo Split With Kang Daniel
In August 2019, Dispatch announced that TWICE member Jihyo and Kang Daniel were dating. The publication claimed that the two were spotted on a date in Hannam, Seoul, on August 1 and have been dating since the start of the two. The two reportedly go to Kang Daniel's home for dates, and Jihyo drives her car.

Dispatch claims the two meet over once a week, and one of the members of TWICE had even given Jihyo a ride to Kang Daniel's house and picked her up again. The two met after a close idol senior introduced the two to each other.
JYP Entertainment and KONNECT Entertainment confirmed the dating news, saying they are "meeting with interest."

After over a year of publicly dating, Dispatch announced in November 2020 that the two had gone their separate ways. They claim that they had little time to meet due to the two's busy schedules. Because of that, they naturally drifted away. Overall, Dispatch claimed Jihyo and Kang Daniel were too busy for love.
An inside stated that they both have clear goals, and since they were too busy working on their albums, they had fewer meetings. At the time, Jihyo was promoting "MORE & MORE," and Kang Daniel was preparing his next album.
