After all, K-pop groups that are formed through survival and reality TV shows usually start their careers with a one-year or two-year contract.

Despite the fans' concerns, there is no stopping CLASSy from singing and recording their own songs. In fact, they are performing on KBS's music show, "Music Bank."

During the final competition stage on "My Teenage Girl," CLASSy also said that they could have their first concert in April.

But shortly after they were named as the winners of "My Teenage Girl," fans across the globe opened up about another issue that they saw with the girl group.

CLASSy, 'My Teenage Girl' Face Backlash

Some of them questioned why girls as young as 13 and 14 years old were grouped together with much older singers. One member of CLASSy is already 20 years old.

Fans believe that the young members of the group could face more pressures compared to their older counterparts.

And this could also result in mental health problems for the members of CLASSy.

Others also urged the people behind "My Teenage Girl" to rethink the concept of the show, as well as their age requirement.

But some fans also defended the program by saying that the title alone suggests that they are looking for teenagers.

"My Teenage Girl" also face criticisms because of their alleged unfair treatment of some contestants.

On one occasion, the show almost eliminated one contestant just because her score was announced incorrectly.

The program was also criticized for keeping untalented contestants because of their audience voting system.

CLASSy 'SURPRISE' Becomes a Hit

CLASSy is made up of seven idols namely, Won Ji Min, 14, Kim Seon Yu, 13, Myung Hyung Seo, 20, Hong Hye Ju, 18, Kim Ri Won, 15, Park Bo Eun, 14, and Yoon Chae Won, 18.

The new K-pop group reportedly wants to be recognized in the entire world that's why they came up with their name, CLASSy. After all, this suggests that they are top-notch and the best.

On Friday, March 4, CLASSy also broke records on MWave's official M Count Down.

The K-pop group's song "SURPRISE" made it to no. 7 on their live ranking chart.

This means that CLASSy leveled with the likes of STAYC, Super Junior, BTOB, and Cherry Bullet that were also part of the list.

CLASSy's fellow newcomer, NMIXX made it to the top of the live ranking with their song, "O.O."
