On March 6, model turned actress Jang Yoon Ju became the center of criticism of Jennie's domestic and foreign fans, leaving "vomiting" emojis on her Instagram posts..
In particular, the issue started when the model posted a photo of herself wearing Chanel outfits on the photo-sharing platform. Jang Yoon Ju initially garnered praise for her visuals, despite being 41 years old.
However, aside from her photos, what captured fans' attention was Jang's caption, saying, “#Lastweek #Imnotadoll #Theseareuneditedcuts."
She also added "#Jennie, are you watching?”
In response, Jang Yoon Ju fans left comments praising the model-actress, even comparing her to Jennie, Chanel's global ambassador. "You're prettier than Jennie, and "You're a top model class," more.
In defense, fans of the BLACKPINK members also wrote and protested, "Why are you suddenly mentioning Jennie," "Don't bother BLACKPINK Jennie," and started leaving offensive comments and emojis.

In context, Jennie is the global ambassador for luxury brand Chanel, earning the modifier, "Human Chanel," for appearing in Chanel outfits for her airport fashion and daily clothes.
BLINKs (fandom of BLACKPINK) implied that they felt uncomfortable when Jang mentioned her as if asking her to "learn from her."
While most fans took the idol's sides, some defended Jang Yoon Ju to those who are calling her "unpopular," highlighting that Jang is a top Korean fashion model who's been in the field for more than 20 years now, basically a senior of Jennie in the field. Jang is also the model who appeared in aespa's "Black Mamba."
In the wake of the controversy, Jang Yoon Ju deleted the controversial hashtag, and while fans continued their protest, the top model responded by posting more of her photos wearing Chanel.

Amid controversy, Jennie proved that she's truly the "Human Chanel" after wearing a 10-million won fashion ensemble from the luxury brand during her departure to France.
The "SOLO" singer appeared at Incheon International Airport Terminal 2 on the afternoon of March 5 to travel to France after being invited to Paris Fashion Week.
The fashion icon immediately drew attention by wearing products from Chanel and based on research, the leather handbag and boots used by the superstar exceed 10 million won at combined prices of the two products.
