Since her debut as a MOMOLAND member, JooE has been known for her chubby cheeks and adorable aura. However, she has transformed into a more mature and sexier female idol, which is evident in her Instagram updates.

On March 23, JooE took to her Instagram account to share a mirror selfie without writing anything in the caption besides a few emojis. The picture shows the "BBoom BBoom" singer wearing a white crop top.

In addition to her visuals, other things caught many people's attention. MOMOLAND JooE now has a slimmer jawline and a clearer clavicle line.

In the comments section of her latest Instagram post, many fans are praising the "BAAM BAAM" singer for her new look. But, there are still some fans who are asking her to stay healthy and not to lose weight too much.

In October of last year, the female idol appeared on KBS Joy's "Ssul-vival." MOMOLAND JooE revealed at the time that she was on an extreme diet even after losing a lot of weight prior to that.

She told the hosts that she wanted to eat lots of food a day before her appearance on the show, but she stopped herself. She added, "These days, I only eat two cucumbers, 400g chicken breast, 200g beef, and or two apples a day.
MOMOLAND JooE's extreme diet seemed to have paid off as she now has a slimmer body shape than before.

On Jan. 14, JooE participated in MOMOLAND's return to the K-pop scene with their English song "Yummy Yummy Love" with Natti Natasha. This is the group's first music release in almost a year since they collaborated with CHROMANCE for a new version of "Wrap Me in Plastic."
MOMOLAND on the Mexican TV dance competition "Todos A Bailar"
On Feb. 19, JooE along with her fellow members appeared on the Mexican TV dance competition "Todos A Bailar." In particular, they guested in the final episode of the program.

Ahead of their appearance on the Mexican TV show, MOMOLAND member JooE tested positive for COVID-19 on Feb. 1. Her agency MLD Entertainment said that she had a mild fever on Jan. 31 and so she underwent the PCR test, and eventually found out that she contracted the virus.

At that time, she was showing mild symptoms and was in self-quarantine. This resulted in her scheduled activities being canceled. JooE then recovered from coronavirus on Feb. 10.
Following JooE, her bandmates Nancy and Hyebin were diagnosed with COVID-19 on Feb .20 while in Mexico.
