For starters, James Reid is a well-known celebrity in the Philippines. He rose to fame after appearing in the Filipino reality show "Pinoy Big Brother," where he finished in first place after receiving the most votes.

This post of the fan account @jamesxnancy_ drew attention and became a hot topic among netizens. It garnered over 1.3 million views, 136,000 likes, and almost 1,200 comments and shares, as of press time. In the comments section of the TikTok video, one netizen alleged that the video was shared by Ivan Dorschner on his Instagram story, but he later deleted it.

Over on Instagram, the same fan account uploaded a few pictures to further prove that MOMOLAND Nancy and James Reid were together in Los Angeles.
One of the photos shows a blurry capture of Reid sitting beside a woman, who the netizen claimed to be Nancy (see picture above). The other image is a stolen shot of the female K-pop idol smiling at a man. Although his face cannot be seen, it is assumed that the man is none other than the Filipino-Australian celebrity.
Another TikTok video became a hot topic and it shows the two celebs allegedly having fun with their friends at Six Flags Magic Mountain, a theme park in Valencia, California. The clip has gained over two million views and 141,000 likes, as of writing.

James Reid and MOMOLAND Nancy were previously announced as the stars who will take on the lead roles of the Filipino series "Soulmate Project" back in October 2019. Reportedly, they went through a look test for the TV show in February 2020.

However, PEP.ph previously reported that Reid withdrew from the project in February 2021. The celeb didn't give any explanations for his decision.
