Did (G)I-DLE Yuqi Date GOT7 Jackson?
In February 2022, (G)I-DLE member Yuqi was embroiled in dating rumors with GOT7's Jackson. The rumors started when the Chinese paparazzi uploaded a video of Yuqi leaving a hotel in China and arriving at Jackson's apartment. The video went viral on the Chinese social media platform Weibo.

The next day, the driver fetches Yuqi's assistance from the hotel to pick up the female idol from Jackson's apartment. She is seen holding three stalks of roses when she leaves.
According to the paparazzi, the driver was personally sent by Jackson. The (G)I-DLE member returns to her hotel, and Jackson leaves for the airport that same day.
Yuqi leaves to return to Korea the day after.

After the video went viral, people soon spotted holes in the story. For example, the car that allegedly picked Yuqi up and dropped her off at Jackson's apartment was different from the car Jackso used to go to the airport.
It was also noted that the clothes Yuqi was seen in as she entered the hotel was not the same with what she wore at the airport.

After the rumors went viral, Jackson Wang's management company, RYCE Entertainment, refuted these claims on Weibo. They stated the videos were pieced together to twist the truth and mislead the public to create misunderstandings.
They added that it is common and normal for friends to gather at Jackson's home and accused the paparazzi of invading Jackson's privacy and damaging his reputation. In response, RYCE Entertainment had filed a police report to protect Jackson.

RYCE Entertainment's statement makes it safe to assume the two are just friends.
Unfortunately, CUBE Entertainment never released a statement on the matter.

As of writing, Yuqi has not announced if she is dating anyone. Therefore, it is most likely that the Chinese idol is single.

In August 2018, Yuqi revealed her ideal type during an appearance on MBC FM4U's "Two O'Clock Date With Ji Suk Jin." There, she revealed she has always been a Super Junior fan and chose Ryeowook as her favorite member. In addition, she stated she really liked Ryeowook's voice.

However, when naming her ideal type, she chose Kim Soo Hyun's character Do Min Joon from "My Love From the Star." She even sent him a video message, saying he is incredibly cool. She also expressed her wish to meet him.
After naming these two celebrities, Ji Suk Jin asked Yuqi, "How about a man with Kim Soo Hyun's face but Ryeowook's voice?" Yuqi replied that man would be perfect for her.
