Former Wonder Girls Hyerim revealed the aftermath of giving birth to her first child this past February.

At the beginning of the video, the "Draw Me" singer revealed that it was her first time appearing in front of a camera since she had her baby. She feels a little nervous and doesn't know where to begin her story of giving birth to her first child.

The former Wonder Girls member then said that she didn't have any ups and downs when she was pregnant. "I wasn't nauseous. I ate well, and everything was fine, you know?" she added.

Former Wonder Girls Hyerim Says She Cried for One Week After Giving Birth

Although she didn't have any difficulties while she was pregnant, she experienced some changes after giving birth, and one of those is that she found herself crying for one whole week.

"But after I gave birth, I cried every single day for the whole week. I had a lot of mood swings."

Hyerim continued to confess that she cried the whole time for the first three days at the postpartum care center.

"Even at home, I just got tears in my eyes really for nothing," she further said.

Thankfully, former Wonder Girls Hyerim realized that she only needed some time to get better.

"In my mind, I would tell myself that everything will be okay after some time, but I still couldn't help my emotion and tears," she said.

The "Why So Lonely" singer added, "It was tears, tears, and tears. I cried so much." She later shared that she got a lot better now.

Another interesting fact that Hyerim revealed is that she had lost 10 kg in weight after giving birth.

"You know I gained 20 kg before. Now that I have lost 10 kg so far, it's 10 more kilograms to go. Wow! I don't know when that will be," she said.

Former Wonder Girls Hyerim Says She Cried for One Week After Giving Birth

On Feb. 25, rrr Entertainment announced that Hyerim gave birth to a healthy baby boy at a hospital in Seoul on the afternoon of the 23rd.

On the same day, the former Wonder Girls member took to her personal Instagram account to share a photo showing the feet of her baby. She captioned the post with, "Our Sarangie [pre-birth nickname] has been born healthy! Love at first sight is REAL!" She also included the child's birth date, Feb. 23, 2022.

Former Wonder Girls Hyerim tied the knot with taekwondo athlete Shin Min Chul back in July 2020 after seven days of dating. She then announced her pregnancy with their first child in October 2021.

Hyerim's Last Activity as a Wonder Girls Member

Back on Jan. 26, 2017, Wonder Girls was announced to disband due to unsuccessful contract renewal negotiation with some of the group's members. While Hyerim and Yubin renewed their contracts with JYP Entertainment, Sunmi and Yeeun decided not to.

Although they disbanded in January, Wonder Girls released their final music, which is a digital single titled "Draw Me." The song came out on Feb. 10; it also marked the band's celebration of their 10th anniversary as a group.
