Where Is Secret Now? Current Status of Sunhwa, Jieun, Hana and Hyosung
Known for their hit tracks "Madonna" and "Magic," Secret rose as one of the top second-gen girl groups in the K-pop scene. The quartet, unfortunately, parted ways in 2018.
Four years after their disbandment, where are the members now?
In 2009, TS Entertainment introduced their first-ever girl group, Secret, comprised of Hyosung, Sunhwa, Hana and Jieun.
Initially, the group that debuted with "I Want You Back" didn't receive that much popularity, not until they dropped two consecutive hits, "Magic" and "Madonna," in the following year.
From an underrated group launched by a small company to top-tier idols who raised the status of their agency, Secret's popularity continuously skyrocketed, until they contract dispute that started in 2014.
In 2018, they eventually disbanded after only having two members left.
Here Are 4 Members of Secret and Their Current Status:
1. Hyosung
Although Hyosung left the company early in 2018 due to a legal dispute, she remained a member until the last part of their career.
After parting ways with the company, she briefly signed with Tommy & Partners Entertainment and later on transfer to IOK Company in 2021.
Aside from acting and singing, Hyosung is also currently working as a host for the NQQ entertainment show "I'm a Solo" and MBC FM4U "Jeon Hyosung's Dream Radio."
On YouTube, the idol is continuously communicating with fans through her personal YouTube channel "Bling Darling Jeon Hyosung."
2. Hana
Among members, Hana is the only one who remained under TS Entertainment until the group disbanded.
After the sad news, Hana continued her activities as a soloist and joined "King of Masked Singer” in May 2019.
3. Sunhwa

Prior to the group's disbandment in 2018, Sunhwa left Secret in 2016. Since then, the idol focused on her acting career, and joined KeyEast Entertainment in 2020.
As an actress, she became notable for her works, such as "Backstreet Rookie" in 2019 and "Work Later, Drink Now" in 2021.
Sunhwa also gained attention for being the older sister of VICTON Han Seungwoo. They are often praised for their stunning "celebrity genes" and "sibling goals" relationship.
4.Jieun
In 2009, Jieun debuted as the main vocalist and maknae of Secret. Initially, she was supposed to debut as SISTAR and BESTie, but the plan didn't go well.
Just years after she was introduced as an idol, Jieun later on debuted as an actress in 2012 and established her acting career.
In 2018, she announced her departure from Secret through Instagram.
In the following year, Jieun signed a contract with 6 Oceans.
