Who Is K-pop Girl Group Berry Good and Why Did They Disband?
Berry Good made their debut in May 2014 under Asia Bridge Entertainment (or JTG Entertainment). The original lineup consists of Gowoon, Taeha, Nayeon, Subin, and Iera. However, the three later members left in January 2015 to focus on their studies.

As a result, the girl group welcomed three new members namely Seoyul, Sehyung, and Daye. Berry Good then became a six-member girl group in late 2016 after another member, Johyun, was added.

The band started to see members' departure in 2019, starting with Taeha who left the group and agency after her contract expired. In the same year, Daye went on a hiatus due to health issues, however, she never rejoined the group so it is uncertain when she left.

This means Johyun, Seoyul, Sehyung, and Gowoon are the only members that stayed with JTG Entertainment until 2021 before Berry Good officially disbanded on May 12 of the said year. The girl group's last release is their fourth EP "Undying Love" on Jan. 19, 2021.

JTG Entertainment explained that the agency will merge with Starweave Entertainment and that Johyun plans to promote under Starweave. Sehyung, on the contrary, decided not to renew her contract.

At present, Gowoon remains a singer and releases new music from time to time. However, it is unsure whether she is currently an independent artist or is signed with a new label.
To date, her latest song is titled "Now I'm Okay," which was dropped on April 6 this year. She took part in writing the lyrics and composing this track.

Additionally, the former Berry Good member is active in updating her social media accounts, such as Instagram and YouTube. Her most recent video uploaded to YouTube is a cover of GAYLE's "Abcdefu."
On May 29, Gowoon will hold a fan meeting called "Day & Night," along with E.SO (her bandmate Seoyul), at Space Wadiz B1 Square in Seoul, South Korea.

Currently, former Berry Good member Seoyul is signed with A.I.M by Enterarts as a solo artist under the stage name E.SO. She made her solo debut in July 2021 with the digital single "Orgel."
As mentioned above, E.SO will hold a fan meeting with her former bandmate Gowoon later this month.
