Eli, Ji Yeon Soo Talk About Reconciling for Son — Here Are Their Conditions
On the new episode of TV Chosun's "We Got Divorced 2," which aired on May 10, Eli and Ji Yeon Soo discuss possible reunion following their breakup in November 2020. The ex-couple considers reconciling for their son's sake.

Eli, Ji Yeon Soo, and Son Min Soo Enjoys Family Date at Amusement Park
On the broadcast, Eli visited the current house of his ex-wife Ji Yeon Soo and was welcomed by their son Min Soo. The family of three then headed to the amusement park, the No. 1 activity on the bucket list of their son.
While holding their hands together, the son expressed how his delight to be with both his mom and dad and said:
"It's heaven."
On May 12, Ji Yeon Soo even shared photos taken by Eli from their picnic and showed their bright smiles while staring at the camera.
Back on the show, Eli showed a complex expression when they arrived back at his ex-wife's house.
At that time, the son stuck to Eli and Min Soo said in tears:
"I won't let you go. I don't want to part ways."

Later on, Eli met his former co-member Alexander and revealed his true feelings about reuniting with Ji Yeon Soo.
Eli said:
"We don't fight anymore. We're on good terms these days. I found out what Yeon Soo didn't know, and through this shoot, I was able to talk to her. Little by little, our misunderstanding was resolved.
If I had come to Korea without this show, I wouldn't even have said 'Hello' to her. I would have only met Min Soo."
When Alexander asked him if he was planning to reconcile with her, Eli didn't deny nor confirm, but he hinted at his opposition to going back to the US and leaving his family again.

The following day, Eli and Ji Yeon Soo meet again and while eating, the two talked about creating new memories together.
Eli opened up:
"I want to be next to Min Soo. I don't want to give him the feeling that his dad is leaving."
Although the female celebrity explained that once he left the US he will become unemployed, Eli expressed affection to Min Soo by considering their son's feelings first.
Ji Yeon Soo, who heard this, seriously considered the discussion and said her conditions on their potention reconciliation.
"Let's say, 'I'm coming in for Min Soo' is true, I'm also important now. If we live together, I will become a woman who lives with my divorced ex-husband. I wanted to remarry before I turned 50, but even the opportunity to meet new people will fly away. "
She added:
"If you come to Korea, I will find my place again or not. If you come to me and leave again, I will have no strength to get up again."
Eli responded:
"If I come back, I won't leave."
Ji Yeon Soo drew attention by saying:
"If our family of three lived like this without any interference during the days you were in my house, we would have been happy forever."
Ji Yeon Soo then made a straightforward remark to Eli, saying:
"Do you like me?"
Eli replied, "Yes," signaling a green light for the reunion.
