On May 12, a netizen raised dating rumors about the two YG Entertainment artists through a post on an online community, titled "There is a picture of Jennie at G-Dragon's house."
In the photo, a woman was seen holding a stripped-pattern T-shirt from luxury brand Chanel and taking a picture with it.
Recognizably, the corner of the photo where a display rack was located contains pictures of Jennie. In addition, pictures of actress Jung Hoyeon were also displayed.

Although the photo didn't show any hints of the "Still Life" singer on it, the Internet user claimed that the place where the photo was taken was G-Dragon's home.
Netizen Receives Backlash For Spreading 'Absurd' Dating Rumor
The post, which was posted on Nate Pann became a hot topic, climbing on top of high-ranked posts and receiving about 117k views.
However, the post is being criticized due to public opposition. The online user's claim to comment on the post is that the place in the photo is not G-Dragon's home, but the Chanel headquarters and the woman holding the T-shirt is a Chanel official.
In addition, netizens defended the BIGBANG member and BLACKPINK global star, saying:
"We should avoid raising groundless romantic relationships with celebrities."
G-Dragon and Jennie are both Chanel's global ambassadors and are actively promoting the luxury brand through joint campaigns.
Jung Ho Yeon, whose autograph was captured, has been a runway model for Chanel campaign shows several times as a model.
In 2021, the rumors of a romantic relationship between famous artists have been steadily raised. It was after the notorious K-media outlet specializing in dating news and controversies, Dispatch, reported that Jennie and GD were spotted having dates at the latter's home.
According to the report, the K-pop idols initially started with senior-junior relationship under the same agency but eventually fall in love with each other. At that time, it was speculated that they were dating for about two years already. It was also said that their relationship is not a secret among their staff, and the people around them were actually helping them to keep their status private.
Since then, K-pop fans brought back their past interactions, alleged "lovestagram" and closeness, proving their alleged relationship.
Despite this, the "BLACK" singers remained silent about this and their agency, YG Entertainment, has maintained a neutral side about the rumor, making it hard to confirm whether the two are actually meeting with mutual feelings.
YG stated:
"It is difficult for the company to confirm the facts about the artist's personal life whenever rumors of a romantic relationship are raised."
