Back on February 24, 2021, Dispatch released an exclusive report claiming that G-Dragon and Jennie were dating.

The news site stated that the two would often have private dates at G-Dragon's penthouse. Jennie was permitted to use his personal elevator and private parking lot for their dates. The female idol's daily routine was to visit G-Dragon'shome once her activities were over for the day, then return to her own residence.
It was stated that the two's relationship was widely known in YG Entertainment and that the two's managers would take turns bringing Jennie to and from G-Dragon's house. They also stated that Jennie's mom is aware of the relationship.

However, YG Entertainment neither confirmed nor denied the claims. Instead, they stated they could not say anything as it is the artists' personal lives.
