On June 14, a post about Kim Wooseok was made on two of Korea's biggest online communities, and has since gone viral. The post criticizes the UP10TION member for adopting three animals (two dogs and one cat) in two years, even if the idol is said to be allergic to cats.

The post also states that the singer was hiding the fact that he owns a cat. The netizen alleged that the cat was spotted during the idol's live broadcast.

The netizen said, "Kim Wooseok, since leaving the dorm has adopted a pomeranian, then a Bichon- and now a cat? Are you out of your mind...? Ah look at him force the dog's joint up and to the side."

Apart from accusing him of using the animals for clout, the netizen also criticized UT10TION Kim Wooseok for not taking care of them. They experienced their disappointment in how he personally washed his dogs only once and just asked his manager to take the dogs to a grooming shop.
